Cincinnati Pride

Cincinnati Pride is a downtown parade that spills into a free riverfront festival. The nonprofit Cincinnati Pride Inc. runs the show, and organizers billed the 2026 edition as the 53rd. The numbers are massive. Local 12 reported 2025 attendance at 289,000.

The parade kicks off at 11am near West 7th Street and Central Avenue. It heads south on Vine Street, past Fountain Square, and ends at Sawyer Point and Yeatman's Cove on the Ohio River. The festival runs until 8pm. Entry is free. Downtown roads close from about 8am to 3pm, so expect to walk the last stretch. Storm damage hit the 2025 site, prompting organizers to add protocols for 2026 that pause the festival during severe weather.

The 2026 parade and festival took place on Saturday 27 June, with Fifth Third Bank as presenting sponsor. Organizers expected around 300,000 people. The Buckeye Flame reported thousands turning out, but no official count emerged afterward. The 2027 date hadn’t been announced when we checked.
