TrailFest 2026: Celebrate the Buckeye Trail at Salt Fork
A full-weekend gathering of hiking, outdoor learning, fellowship, recognition, and Ohio trail community
TrailFest 2026 is a full-weekend event featuring hiking and outdoor presentations at Salt Fork State Park.
Registration officially opens on Friday, September 11 at noon, with early morning registration also available on Saturday, September 12 for later arrivals. The main TrailFest event wraps up on Sunday, September 13 around 9:00 AM, directly preceding the Annual Meeting, which is free and open to everyone.
Join Buckeye Trail volunteers, hikers, partners, and supporters for TrailFest 2026, a special weekend celebrating Ohio’s 1,400+ mile Buckeye Trail. From scenic hikes to shared learning and community recognition, TrailFest brings together the people who help keep Ohio’s signature trail moving forward—mud, memories, mileage, and all.
This year’s gathering will take place at Salt Fork State Park and Lodge and will be co-hosted by the Buckeye Trail Association, the North Country Trail Association, and the Ohio Recreation Council of Appalachia.
