About this place Cathedral of Hope

Cathedral of Hope is a Dallas church founded in 1970 as a Metropolitan Community Church congregation serving LGBTQ+ Christians. It later joined the United Church of Christ and is often described as one of the largest LGBTQ+-majority congregations in the world. The campus on Cedar Springs Road includes the main sanctuary and the Interfaith Peace Chapel, designed by Philip Johnson. Visitors are welcome at Sunday services. The listed office hours are Monday to Thursday 09:00-15:00, with the building open Sunday until 15:30. Check cathedralofhope.com for service times and any tours of the chapel. The Oak Lawn gay bar strip is a short drive south.

The first worship center (I don’t want to call them church ) that expels people from their parking lots! If u park there they come and say u can’t stay here . I was expecting hospitality but I ve encountered a rude security who doesn’t even know how to welcome or say hi . I think they might do something inside that they don’t want to publicly known !
