The W Dallas - Victory Hotel brings its signature style to Dallas’s Victory Park, but it’s a Texas version, which means lasso sculptures and armadillo skin details.
This is a luxury hotel for people who want personality in their stays, not just a bed. Think bold, unapologetic design—very much in line with the W brand.
You’re just minutes from Dallas's most interesting museums and festival sites. Victory Park itself is easy to walk around, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and things to do right there. The central location is good for getting to the arts district and other spots popular with LGBTQ+ visitors.
It’s a gay-friendly hotel, welcoming everyone with the polished service and contemporary amenities you expect from a W. If you’re in town for work, fun, or to check out Dallas’s LGBTQ+ scene and other cultural attractions, this hotel gives you a comfortable, stylish home base.

We came for 3 days of business only to be truly disappointed, never have I experienced a poor W hotel but this didn’t at all meet the standards. The moment you walk in there is a weird smell of must and mold throughout the entire hotel. The staff was not at all friendly and doing less than bare minimum. Apparently there was World Cup players staying at our hotel and we were not advised so when we tried to use common areas that we paid good money to be in we were turned away by their security staff. The rooms air conditioning turns off in the middle of the night so it gets very hot and musty. Overall we were super disappointed and it was not at all worth what we paid to stay here and not even be able to use common areas. We won’t ever stay again! Beware it’s not a true W Marriott experience!
Small rooms, rude front desk man. The front desk lady was nice. Fridge wasn't working. Bus was blocking the entrance to get in. Over priced.
As an interfaith wedding rabbi and officiant, I have had the privilege of celebrating weddings at many wonderful venues throughout Texas, and W Dallas is one of those places that perfectly captures the energy, style, and contemporary spirit of the city around it. Located in the heart of Victory Park, W Dallas offers a distinctly modern wedding experience. With sweeping views of the Dallas skyline, sophisticated event spaces, and a vibrant atmosphere, the hotel is ideal for couples who want their celebration to feel stylish, memorable, and unmistakably urban. The setting embraces the excitement of downtown Dallas while still providing the elegance and service expected of a luxury wedding venue. What I especially appreciate is how the property balances contemporary design with genuine hospitality. The sleek interiors, dramatic event spaces, and rooftop experiences create a sense of occasion from the moment guests arrive. At the same time, the hotel's experienced team understands that a successful wedding is about more than aesthetics. It is about creating an experience that allows couples and their guests to feel welcomed, comfortable, and fully present throughout the celebration. From a ceremony standpoint, W Dallas offers a unique backdrop that reflects the character of the city itself. Whether celebrating with panoramic skyline views, hosting an elegant ballroom reception, or gathering guests for wedding weekend events throughout the property, the venue creates an atmosphere that feels both sophisticated and energetic. It is particularly well suited for couples seeking a modern celebration that reflects their own style and personality. I also appreciate the convenience that comes with a full-service luxury hotel. Accommodations, dining, event spaces, and guest services are all located in one place, making the experience seamless for both local and out-of-town guests. That level of convenience allows everyone to focus on what matters most: celebrating a meaningful milestone together. For couples seeking a venue that combines contemporary luxury, vibrant Dallas energy, exceptional hospitality, and a memorable guest experience, I am delighted to recommend W Dallas.
After a red-eye flight, I arrived at the W Dallas exhausted and ready to check in only to be turned away at the front desk by a staff member named Victor, who cited a policy I have never encountered in all my years staying at Marriot Hotels across the country. No flexibility, no empathy, no solution offered. I was forced to scramble for alternative accommodations, alone, in an unfamiliar city. This was my first time in Texas and my last time ever setting foot in a W Hotel. What should have been a welcoming arrival turned into one of the most stressful check-in experiences of my life. I expect far better from a brand at this price point.
