Highland Haven Creekside Inn

We have stayed here twice while visiting family in Evergreen. It's a wonderful, cozy Inn. All of the staff is friendly and helpful. We enjoyed having breakfast delivered to our room each day and the evening beverages.

Overdue review: My stay at Highland Haven was the least to say- the best experience I’ve had at a hotel/b&b in awhile. I decided last minute to book this for a little get away and I never thought I’d find myself wanting to come back. The grounds are so beautiful, located near town- so everything is convenient. Each staff member I spoke to on the phone or encountered- was AMAZING! They are so kind, professional, helpful, and provided the best service. Everything about this place made my heart explode with joy. From the warm fresh cookies and wine during happy hour, the breakfast brought to my bed, the later check out! Ugh I miss it so much. Thank you to all the staff!!

Lovely place for a getaway, comfortable rooms and excellent service! Close to trails and shops/restaurants just a short stroll away. Loved the attention to detail in both rooms and in surrounding areas

Beautiful place with a moviesque gardenscape. The rooms are super romantic and well furnished. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a quiet getaway for hikes and small town vibes. This is a gem - the cherry on top is the service. Thank you Danielle for being an amazing host.

Calling it “exceptional” is an understatement. We stayed at their place for our 10th anniversary, and they helped make it unforgettable. From delivering excellent-quality breakfast to our cabin door, to the drinks and many small details that made this experience unforgettable. They are excellent, professional, and caring. The property itself is filled with beautiful details at every turn: hand-painted wall murals, crafted woodwork, freshly baked cookies, a welcome gift for our dog, hand carved animals and totem scattered throughout the property, and a serene creekside walkway, the jacuzzi inside the cabin... The list goes on and on. There are even steps leading down to a hidden corner by the creek, complete with a tiny table and two chairs, which is a perfect and intimate spot. You can truly feel the heart they put into every single detail. This is one of those places you can’t wait to come back.

Not only do they have beautiful accommodations in a magical setting, but the people who work here are truly angels. We had a family in Evergreen who suffered an unimaginable tragedy and the staff at HHCI enveloped them with so much love and generosity, in every way. I highly recommend this place for every reason, most of all supporting a business full of humans who make the world a better place.

This is a must say if traveling to the Evergreen area! We absolutely loved our stay. It was the perfect setting for our weekend getaway!

I live in the area and chose to stay in the Treehouse suite for the three days over my elopement. My husband and I travel often across the state and have stayed in many nice places, but nothing compares to the Highland Haven. The location is extremely convenient to downtown but despite this, the trees block the views and sounds from town, creating an oasis. Being vegan we often have to forgo included breakfasts, however, the team at Highland Haven went above and beyond serving us a wide variety of homemade vegan items including avocado toast, coconut yogurt with fresh fruit, vegan blueberry pancakes, and roasted potatoes. On our last day we needed to leave at 4am to catch a flight, and knowing this, the staff prepared us fresh fruit and vegan oatmeal which they had ready for us the night before. The decor and inclusions at the Treehouse were extremely well thought out and the view of the evergreen trees from the patio was wonderful. This was both of our favorites stays, ever. We now plan to return annually. Thank you Highland Haven!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Highland Haven. We have been coming here for many years. The whole place is like living in a magical, woodland fairy tale. The staff are always so welcoming and friendly, and I love that for the past several years, it is always the same faces. The in-room breakfast delivery is excellent, and the complimentary happy hour is a nice bonus. They keep finding ways to make their little cozy retreat feel so special. The tree house is our preferred option, but we have stayed in the hillside cottages and the cliffside, and you really cannot go wrong. Several of the accommodations are also dog-friendly. They are located within walking distance of downtown. Highly recommend!

This place is a must. The customer service is top notch. The entire property feels like a hallmark movie. Very quaint, clean and close to town. 10/10 place.
