Location, location, location! What can I say? It's in a great spot!
Our first stay at the Inn on Ferry was so nice! We had an upstairs room that got rather warm on our 4th night due to a heat wave and the Innkeeper very graciously arranged for us to move to a cooler room on a lower level. We were in the Roem house at 70 Ferry St. (Would recommend avoiding rm 2205 if there during very hot weather). This place has loads of old world charm. It is very reminiscent of places we have stayed in England. There is breakfast provided on Saturdays and Sundays. They are located perfectly for walking to the cultural venues of the Detroit Institute of Arts and other museums. Also- they are steps away feom Wayne State University. We will definitely stay here again as our four night getaway trip was everything we wanted!
Had an excellent stay here with my family while visiting. Rooms were great, The handsome young gentleman at the front desk was super friendly and helpful, was eager to help. He went above and beyond with recommendations and made my visit to Detroit much more memorable!
Such a nice place to stay, so cozy and classic vibe. Would absolutely stay again and would recommend to any travelers through the city.
Perfect location for the Arts District. One block from the Q-Line, the free train line to the Sports venues and downtown. The Inn is made up of two converted mansions. Rooms are very nice with original woodwork and windows. Be happy to come back and stay here again.
