My husband and I stayed here this past weekend, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The bed and breakfast is beautiful, spotless, and incredibly welcoming. Every detail made us feel comfortable and cared for. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding—fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. It was one of the highlights of our stay and the perfect way to start each morning. The warm hospitality and attention to detail made this a truly memorable weekend. We highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to return. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

My wife and I stayed at the Inn for our babymoon. Our room was very comfortable and the bathroom was updated with a spacious shower. We very much enjoyed the pool, and they did an excellent job with breakfast each morning. Just a short walk to Douglas Beach, or a short drive across the river to downtown Saugatuck.

I've stayed at a variety of places in the area, and this one tops the list! If you are even thinking of staying, pull the trigger now! Why? Everything in this inn has been crafted with an incredible attention to detail, from the wonderful decor to the ultra filtered water to the cozy towels. The beds and pillows are wonderfully comfortable, and the breakfast is truly outstanding. Evenings are peaceful and quiet, so you're guaranteed a great night's rest. Also, the location can't be beat: it is just a short walk to Lake Michigan for incredible sunsets, and only a few minutes' drive to downtown Douglas and Saugatuck. You'll also find a grocery store, a cozy coffee shop, and the famous Douglas Rootbeer Barrel just around the corner. Add in how spotlessly clean everything is, and you've got the perfect home base for exploring the area. This is where you want to be. Highly recommended!

My fiancé & I had such an amazing stay here! Eric & Tracy are so lovely and made us feel so welcomed. The breakfast was phenomenal, and our stay in the Walnut Suite was so cozy and comfortable. The house is beautiful. A weekend I’ll never forget! Thank you 😊

We recently spent a few days in Saugatuck/Douglas and called The Forest Inn home while we were there. Erik and Tracy are incredible hosts and made our stay feel warm and welcoming. We were just a short walk away from Douglas beach and enjoyed more than 1 sunset there. Oval Beach was a short drive ,as well as shopping and dining in downtown Saugatuck. Our room(Cedar Suite) was an absolute gem! Oh, and I haven't even mentioned the breakfast served each morning! YUM! We started with either yogurt and granola or overnight oats, followed by dishes both savory and sweet. We will be back!
