This is a beautiful place, appointed with more amenities than the average hotel at this price, most of all the people were great!
Hotel Amaya was an excellent stay. This is a newer hotel in a very convenient part of Fort Wayne, with extremely easy access to I-69 and quick access to a lot of what people come to this area for — the Memorial Coliseum, Glenbrook/Northcrest shopping areas, restaurants, and the north side of town. Even though it is close to a busy and highly sought-after area, the property itself feels surprisingly tucked away. I really appreciated the private entrance, the large property layout, and the fencing around the hotel. It helped the place feel more secluded, secure, and comfortable than I expected for such a convenient location. The front desk staff was phenomenal. Every interaction I had was friendly, professional, and helpful. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well put together. I appreciated the little touches like the slippers, bathrobes, and in-room snacks. The snacks were genuinely good too — the pretzel bites, roasted cashews, dried mango, and chocolate caramels all stood out. I couldn’t resist — look at the pic of my empty jars 🤣 I stayed here for about a week while I needed to reset, get motivated, and be close to Fort Wayne so I could get work done. It ended up being exactly what I needed. The room was comfortable, the property felt calm, and the location made it easy to get where I needed to go. The common areas were clean, spacious, and easy to use. I also liked the 24-hour snack and drink area with self-checkout. That kind of convenience matters when you are staying more than one night. One thing to know: this is a 21-and-over property, which also adds to the calmer feel of the hotel. Overall, Hotel Amaya was a five-star stay for me. Clean, comfortable, convenient, well managed, and in a great Fort Wayne location. I would absolutely keep this place in mind for future stays.
Great experience. The first room wasn’t a fit, so they offered me a new room immediately and took good care of me.
This will be my second time staying at this location and I must say everything was outstanding. I have no complaints. This will forever be the hotel I stay out. Everyone is so nice and friendly. They remembered me from my first visit, the rooms and property is very clean and kept in order.
Great beds! make the stay even that much better. Quiet and no crazy stuff like running kids or people being loud. Very peaceful. Wasn’t sure what i was pulling up too, but very secure and new location, but worth it.
I stayed at The Amaya while on a trip for my retirement party along with my husband and another very close friend. We were traveling for both business and pleasure. We found the manager to be very friendly and overly accommodating to our every request and need. He went above and beyond to assist us. The hotel and room were very clean and we loved the hardwood floors instead of carpet. I found the room to be a refreshing change from every day hotel experiences. I will definitely book and stay here again when in Fort Wayne.
