Chemistry Nightclub

Guy checking IDs at the front door was nice. The bartender eventually warmed up to me. The place isn’t much on aesthetics and had repeats of RuPaul‘s drag race on the TV. It’s small, boxy, with only two one-person unisex bathrooms. Not a lot of mingling. I’m not sure if you could say it was cliquish or not. I politely said hello to one guy that kept looking at me and received nothing in return. It’s what you would expect in a town of this size.

DON'T COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE ASSAULTED!! I went here with a group of friends and my fiance for a birthday celebration. There was a creepy guy who kept targeting women and non consensually doing overtly sexual acts while dancing. He was told to stop explicitly using the word "no" and shoving him away many times and he would eventually come back to do it again. This happened to multiple women in the club. Two of the people in our group, including my fiance, were targeted. He quite literally humped her and rubbed his crotch over her after repeatedly being told off. After hearing about this, I spoke with staff and they just said " I know that guy, he's foreign, so it's just a language barrier" which in no way justified that disgusting behavior. They took no actionable steps to resolve the issue whatsoever which is inexcusable. We left the club feeling extremely uncomfortable and it was just an overall unsettling experience.

We went here last night for a friend’s birthday celebration and overall the music and dancing were great. One of the bartenders was a little rude but it was super busy so I can understand that. However, there was a man there that was constantly coming over and harassing me and my friends along with other women on the dance floor. He would walk up to women dancing and at first it would seem he was just trying to join in on typical club dancing with them but would quickly become extremely sexual. He appeared to be gay (though this is just my impression) so I believe many women felt more comfortable dancing with him at first until he started becoming so inappropriate. At one point he walked up behind me and started grinding his crotch on my butt before grabbing my hips and literally humping me. I turned and immediately shoved him off and told him to leave my friends and I alone. He proceeded to do this several more times to me and other women in my group. He never approached the men. He was walking around and groping and slapping women’s asses and many of them were clearly uncomfortable. My partner went to speak to an employee about it and their response was simply “it’s probably a language barrier, he’s foreign” as if that excuses this behavior. Overall, this was an extremely abhorrent experience and everyone left feeling disrespected. I wasn’t aware that the “inclusivity” this club boasted about applied to sexual predators as well.

Has very rude staff and aggressive as well wouldn’t recommend they attack women there. It’s not at all a safe space as it seems to be.

very disappointed with how the staff and environment were treating my friends. male staff should not even be concerned on ladies using the bathroom together. this is literally girl code bar edict. the owners need to be more thoughtful and critical of who they are hiring!! and who they let in to keep others safe!! if you can’t handle your alcohol and be safe around others. don’t go out! it’s that simple!!

Okay so first off me and my two friends came in here wanting an accepting environment and were met with the exact opposite. We usually go to a COUNTRY YEEHAW club and our gay selves are accepted no matter what and treated with utmost kindness. (Shoutout Arizona petes) Now here. Different story. We first came in and used the restroom together because of girl code and all of a sudden heard someone pounding as loudly and aggressively as possible on the door then came out to it being a staff member yelling he was gonna get us thrown out and his husband owns the place. (This was immediately when we got in we had to use the restroom and it really set the tone) the security guy had to get this man to leave us alone. Then my friend lost her phone and some bald white guy lost his mind and my friends thought he was gonna end up punching or hitting me. I had to call the cops to try and get someone to mediate a conversation with these staff members so we could all reason and look for a phone. Absolutely nothing but angry men here I don’t care about their sexual orientation they are no better than any other angry man who wants to hurt women. Will no longer be going here I’m appalled that a gay club could be so disgusting and disappointing. I’ve never had such a experience.

The only thing okay was the food & this place needs to change its staff no accommodation or consideration when it’s comes to paying customers!

2/15/26 (2/14/26) Officially tried out the club for my birthday and had a blast. So I came back this weekend and had a blast with some friend. Absolutely have enjoyed this club. Enjoyed the free entertainment too. I give this club a 5 stars all around. One thing I will say is the tall black lady who wears a red shirt who works the bar and upfront as you check in was absolutely hateful tonight. I totally understand bartenders have a long night along with those who help run the club but there was no reason to catch an attitude when I asked if I could take my water with me. I don’t go out clubbing often so I don’t know the rules about water cups etc. She proceeded to hand me the water with a snobby attitude. The club closes she’s outside flirting it up with a guy. So I waited and tried letting her know “hey I didn’t really appreciate the attitude over some water” and let her know she’s amazing and I understand she was probably under a lot of stress trying to close the bar. Instead of saying “I’m sorry I apologize” yet again walks away ignored the fact I was trying to be nice about. This small interaction makes me no want to come to this club again, but I understand people are human people were trying to close the bar. I will definitely be back to chemistry as I have made some friends, but small things like this will drive business away. Also just a side note, the website is a bit confusing. I went to the StopLight event 2/14/26 and originally thought I was going to have to pay $17 from what the website said. It was free entry until 10pm $7 if you came before midnight and $10 if you came after midnight. Please do not be like me and think you have to repay after getting in.

Great first experience. Amazing music. Met some awesome people.

Both bartenders were rude. The one in the back looked Hispanic maybe. He ignored us completely. We had to go inside for drinks. And he kept looking annoyed while taking our orders. Lol. And then a old trans with white hair approached me while I was smoking my black and mild and asked if it was weed cause weed isn't allowed. I asked if she was going to everyone checking or if it smelled like weed. She said no she was just being cautious. Wouldn't you know two white girls went to the back of the fence and boom were smoking a joint. She never approached them. When I told her she threw her hands up and said can't catch em all. Lol. Yeah. Never going back here.
