Nice to see people free. Music not loud and it's a little dry. But i was there early so give it a chance.

Welcoming space with friendly staff and lots of interesting events. One of two gay bars in town and Twist is for sure the step up for atmosphere and a clean space

For LGBT+ spaces in the area, I personally think this one is the best. They've got plenty of events on the calendar, and the place can get real active and fun. Not ranking food because it's not a place I go for meals; I go for socializing and drinks.

We love Twist! Incredibly kind and welcoming atmosphere, super sweet bartender, inclusive events, amazing owner who went out of their way to help return an item we lost. Can’t recommend them enough. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Not sure who Landon is, but epic fail in professionalism for a “manager” to call out a patron he has issues with by name ** Original review (09/08/2015): This place is in a downward spiral since losing their long time manager. Bartenders and new manager barely old enough to drink, with sour puss looks and catty comments, talking to patrons about other patrons, etc. They only give good service to folks they find attractive or are in their clique and demographic. The cover charges for “events” are ridiculous. Come in for a drink at 7pm and have to pay a cover for show that doesn’t start til 10pm, then half the “performers” are lame, no shows or don’t even go on?! It’s a bait & switch just like Chemistry. Their drink prices are never published and never consistent. I can order the same drink every time I go and it’s always a different price. They changed their payment system where they hold your card behind the counter the entire time, and it is not secured and I’m not sure the folks are trustworthy with folks financial information - I’ve had multiple friends have to complain about being charged for drinks they did not order, and get their bill “adjusted” oops sorry. But it happens a lot. I think one bartender in particular likes to tack on extra drinks to cover what they & the other bartender consume on “break”; and to make money balance inventory from giving their special clique free drinks. They just hope that the patron is too drunk to pay attention to their bill. On a positive note - Sundays are still decent & the familiar safe vibe. Myke is chill, friendly, makes everyone feel welcome with a big smile, hearty laugh, makes a damn good drink, and doesn’t create drama. The prior manager really built up their business, and created a safe community space over the last 2 years. And it’s just sad the owners don’t value their business or customers enough to keep that going.

had a FABULOUS time. staff and patrons alike were friendly and accommodating and i sang my heart out at karaoke. before karaoke began (when regular music was playing), the music was so loud that i had to shout to the person next to me if i wanted them to hear what i was saying.

Back again. Was a Saturday night and it was all lesbian. Was told to the guys come in later. Later and only 6 guys came in and didn't stay long. Disappointing. Went back for second visit on a Saturday night right after Christmas 2019 and nothing had changed. Place lacks an eye for decorating and design. Was about 12 people there around 11:45pm. Apparently there is no cover charge which is good. First visit, first impression...lacked effort and creativity. Bartenders male and female seemed not to pay attention to customers. But that may change, it's just getting started. I will have to revisit and update my review. I owned several stores and never opened them until they looked good. Looks like they took an existing restaurant with a bar, removed the tables or booths out, put in a pool table and opened. Outside patio is very small. Had a nice black see-thru metal fence made for a restaurant but had no foot traffic privacy/safety. They were having a guys birthday party on a Saturday night which was awkward and made for a weird vibe.

Three cocktails that tasted like they only juice in them. Cost us 27 dollars and a 5 dollar cover for each of us. Never go again

Place is all white only, defiantly avoid if you’re POC. Got glared at by multiple patrons and the bar tender the second I walked in. Mainly older white gay men (like literally 50-60yo grandpas) but a few lesbians. There’s also been a few rumors of roofy-ing so do with that information what you will.Leaving a 5 star for better views so other POC’s don’t make the same mistake.

The bartenders are awesome, and the regulars are friendly. Favorite place to go have a drink, and meet new people.
