Quaint, local, family owned/operated, and authentic - what’s not to love. Each room is unique and artisan aspired. Surfing and epic beach is right across the street. Walkable distance to all the shops and restaurants. I will 100% stay there again.
Great location, terrible rooms. These rooms are dingy, not “simple”. The bedside lights are caked with dust (turn them on and anything you put on the table gets a sprinkle), the bathroom door is missing a hinge (making opening/closing the bathroom door difficult and loud - picture attached), there’s a slight smoke smell, rust in so many places, and a noticeable gap in the front door among other things. Disappointed doesn’t cut it. While the location is great, the price is far too high compared to what you get. This is Motel 6 quality at best, not a 2-star motel as advertised.
