My family and I stayed at this resort and we loved it. The rooms were so nice and clean. They have a bridge that connects to the beach and the staff at the end has beach chairs and stuff for the kids to build sand castles. You just have to tell them your room number and your last name. When you check in you have to wait in line and a friendly attendant helps you get your room card. The desk help area has people who take your luggage to your room. It’s important that you bring cash on hand because you have to tip. The guy’s at the valet booth are the best and work hard to help the guests. I got shuttled to Walmart and Domino’s and the young men were very professional and polite. The valet attendant that helped me was very nice and helpful. Anyway, if you plan on visiting with your family I recommend the Hyatt Regency.
Great property! Beautiful rooms, views, and you can walk to town or the beach easily, or frankly just spend time on property. Excellent breakfast buffet!! Lots of great fruit and vegetables, a changing hash daily, cereals, pastries, something for everyone! And an omelette bar, where you can also get freshly cooked eggs, made to order! One of our favorite things was an excellent assortment of mixed vegetables! It’s not hard to make at least some excellent food choices at this buffet, which can be tough when traveling.
Stayed two nights with my family. The staff were the best part. Very friendly and accommodating. So many nice amenities. We had smore kits both nights, checked out beach gear, had happy hour beers and visited the coffee bar. One of the few hotels to earn the resort fees. Would recommend over the Hilton. Much more personable. Amazing rooms. We even ate breakfast at the restaurant. Amazing food and service.
