Huntington / Fox Fire KOA Holiday

Site had little to no gravel, mud everywhere. Pond had a terrible odor. Had to run fan all night due to highway noise. The electric and water pressure were fine.

Really fun place to stay

Nice place, but not our usual stay place. Being a Holiday KOA, it is geared for families with kids...it is a great place for them.

Was a good spot to stop. Laundry was fair priced. Bathrooms were nice. Spot was level. Everything worked. Only thing I have that could be perceived as a negative, some spots are pretty close together. But they stagger them so its not too bad.

Typical KOA amenities clean restrooms and laundry. Our pull though was level with full hookups. Check in was a breeze escorted to our site. Great WiFi and cell service

Sewer gas and noise. Stayed one night. The sewer gas smell in the campground was terrible and prevented any outdoor activities as well as opening our trailer windows. The sewer connection had no threads to screw-in the sewer hose. The water connection was so close to the ground it was difficult to connect our hose, pressure regulator, and filter. And the water pressure was very low. Also, the picnic table was warped and filthy. And the person camped 2 sites from us was smoking marijuana outside. The interstate road noise was loud. We left before 8am the next morning to get out of there. This campground is not worth $81.67/night, and should not be a KOA "Holiday." The next day we received a text informing us we would receive an e-mail with a survey. We never received the e-mail/survey. So we are posting our experience here.

Great experience camping Had everything I needed with privacy for some me time

We recently stayed at the Huntington/Fox Fire KOA Holiday. Looked at the Google reviews as always before I make reservations. Looked like a really nice place as per the photos. It does not look like the pictures. Campsites are not maintained at all. I did use the laundry room. My wash started and it started to smell like mold in the room. I had to step outside to breathe. Machines had mold on the fronts, they were dirty and the room itself was filthy. 3 machines were out of order. There was plenty of dirt, dust and filth between machines and also the walls. The table for folding was dirty as well. The restrooms were just as bad! Toilets were gross! Floors were filthy, showers were gross. These could be some really nice rooms with some deep cleaning. Thank God we are self contained! The sites themselves were not cleaned up, the fire pits still had either a ton of leaves or old ashes etc from previous campers. Our fire pit looked as though it had been run over and never fixed. Tree branches that had fallen were scattered throughout the entire campground. We stayed for 3 nights and never saw anyone outside working during the day. I was so disappointed as we love staying at KOAs when we travel. I don't think that we will be back. It's unfortunate because this campground has the potential to be amazing! I'm quite sure that in the past it was great. The camp store is lacking supplies. Very small and not much of a selection. The lady at the front desk was very nice as was the man that escorted us to our site. Management/ owners need to really start paying attention to some these poor reviews. There is obviously a lack of concern about what people get after they have already paid money to stay here.

Staff was very nice. Roomy lots. It rained so dog park was very wet. Stayed there before and will stop again if in area.

Wonderful little “mom and pop” feel KOA. Staff is super friendly no matter who is working the office, the best part is the little orange cat who sits in the office, or free roams when the weather is warm. We have seen him all 3 years we’ve visited. Easy check-in, clean, decently comfortable for the price- pet friendly! Definitely a peaceful, quiet place to relax in the winter months.
