This restaurant is a phenomenal experience My girlfriend and I came to celebrate her birthday a few days back and when I called letting them know we were gonna arrive late they changed the reservation time without a problem, they even asked for her name since in the reservation I noted it was her birthday and they wanted to write her a birthday card. We arrived and are greeted by the greatest server we’ve ever been taken care of in an amazing person named Gerald, he recommended us his personal favorites mixed with popular dishes amongst guest and made the experience far better than we ever could have imagined, a few standout dishes Gerald recommended that we also highly recommended are the Rockefeller Oysters, Madagascar Shrimp, the Baked crab cake and the Star of the menu almost as good as Gerald himself, the slow roasted bush creek ranch wagyu which went perfectly with the seasonal old fashioned. This was a place that has you planning for the next time you arrival in the middle of your first time dining there (P.S. their house bread rolls are to die for)

One of THE best places to eat in all of Indianapolis! A perfect place to go for an all out dinner date or simply to treat yourself. The seafood is DIVINE and the service is top-notch. We came to celebrate on the first day, and had to come back the next day to try the rest of the menu because of how good everything was! We also had the best server ever, Gerald. He is a gem and we love him so much! He treats you with love and filled with laughter that I’m sure he’ll get a laugh from anyone! Will definitely be coming back and recommending to everyone I meet!

Fantastic service and an incredible meal. The steaks were amazing, and the creamed spinach and Yukon Gold potatoes were absolutely delicious. But the real star of the show was Gerald. He was genuinely one of the best servers I’ve ever had. Attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire experience feel special. Great food, fantastic service, and Gerald made the night. Highly recommend!

Took my friend, from Indy but lives in LA, to Dean’s on Friday 8/7/26. His first time there. I have been to Dean’s before. As usual it was a great time. Food, drinks were great. Our server, Gerald Bentley was amazing. He answered every question professionally and with confidence. He definitely takes his job and the customer experience seriously. I’ll be back soon.

Ryan was my server/bartender. I came in alone after a weekend of visiting with family and I was alone and feeling it deeply. I walked in and instantly that feeling left me. they whole staff was so friendly and warm. they were SO attentive and knowledgeable throughout. Ryan helped me learn about the ranch and their cattle operations. the Delmonico Ribeye and a glass of Robert Mondavi reserve.. It was the best steak and wine pairing I've had in recent memory. I have only ever served others and I can only hope I did half as good as these exceptional players. it was the crown experience of my weekend dining. they have my admiration.

Amazing food and even better service

This was our first experience at Deans Steakhouse! Let me just say WOW!! The food was phenomenal table side drinks is an experience of its own 🍸🍸and the service was even better. Ken gave us an exceptional experience we’ll never forget. He was attentive, knowledgeable, entertaining and generous! We will definitely be coming again and asking for KEN!!!!!

My Wife and I had the most amazing experience with fabulous food and wine, and the best service we have ever had at similar steakhouses around the US. Thank you to such an amazing team at Dean's Steak and Seafood. We will be back.

It’s a rare occasion when the food, atmosphere, and service are all an amazing vibe! Page was our server and I’d give her 10/5 stars! The food is just as exceptional. The steak was to die for! The oysters were fresh, clean and flavourful! The music added to the ambiance and made the whole experience feel just as fulfilling as the meal was! If you leave hungry and wanting more it’s because you didn’t do it right, not the restaurant! Bon appétit!

This was our first time at Deans. The food was AMAZING! Paige was as our server and she was amazing as well. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The music and atmosphere was also exceptional. 5 stars HIGHLY recommend.

We had a great time at dinner. Shearyl was very attentive and AMAZING with our dietary restrictions. We will be asking for her again next time we come.

This was our first dining experience at Dean's Steak & Seafood located inside the JW Marriott in downtown Indianapolis after attending GenCon at the Convention Center We sat at a high-top in the bar area, and Ryan, Rebecca and Eduardo took wonderful care of us. Ryan especially was friendly and attentive. The food was scrumptious and freshly made, cooked to perfection. The Madagascar shrimps for our appetizers were good a little on the chewy side; and the complimentary bread was soft and warm. The wedge salad with the pork belly was the best I've ever had. The main course of the sea bass was perfectly cooked and the cauliflower sauce was tasty. The key lime pie and chocolate cake for our desserts were richly indulgent and worth every bite. The drinks especially the espresso martini was spot on. Everything from the service to the cocktails to the food was outstanding. We look forward to coming back and enjoying both their service and food again soon!
