I love this hotel but I don't know how to do it for myself

We stayed there one night, and when we woke up, the room and bathroom were infested with larvae and ants. We asked reception for a response from the manager. We still haven't received anything after a week. Avoid at all costs…

Stayed an extended weekend at Ibis. Below pros and cons for anyone thinking about booking here. Pros: - pool, restaurant/bar, onsite jetski, bikes, kayaks, paddle board rentals. 2 Publix close by. Cons: - rooms are more of a motel style. Very humid rooms, very small shower, was not able to get extra pool towels, no shuttle running into downtown like advertised, and no scooter rentals available because their insurance lapsed. Honest take: Stay somewhere closer to downtown area, spend a little extra money and stay at a Marriott or Hyatt - amenities and comfort will be worth it.

Do not stay here unless you absolutely have no other option. The room was clean, but the patio door was rusted at the bottom, the bathroom had rust stains in the tub, holes in the walls and bugs. Mostly the bug wings, but when we left the bugs had had babies on the counter. There is no microwave in the room, there was an ice bucket, but I never saw an ice machine. The housekeeping and maintenance staff were all friendly, but it’s a run down place. We were told this was the last year it will be there, it’s going to be razed, and I certainly understand why. The “beachfront” is a two foot strip of sand in front of a bay that you absolutely do not want to get into the water right there. The restaurant was overpriced, the bar made such light pours you might was well drink fruit punch.
