This is my 4th time staying here. 2nd time stay in one of the newly renovated rooms. Its right off the highway and convenient for my line of work. Clean rooms, clean pillow cases, clean sheets, quite and very professional and accommodating front desk. Fancy approved!

I didn't come across all the bad reviews when I booked a room at this place. Nate Bargatze was performing a show at the Thompson Boling Arena - Food City Center and I traveled down to the area to see him. I booked 2 nights at this hotel so that I can check out a couple of museums 40 minutes away. To make up for all the bad reviews this place has had, I share my experience that hopefully makes up for those bad reviews. They are under renovations. They are doing a lot of work to make the place better considering this must be an old building. I spoke with one of the workers about it & he told me that it's not so much changing owners, but they are changing franchise. They will become a Marriot around end of summer or beginning of Fall. The room me and my friend stayed at looked presentably clean and comfortable. We didn't see any bed bugs or cockroaches during our stay, everything looked up to date and redone. We had a pleasant experience during our stay there even though we weren't expecting a whole lot, but I am happy we didn't receive a bad experience during our stay. I believe they are trying to make this place a lot better and whether you choose to give them a chance, it's up to you.

The front desk day time receptionist was very professional, courteous, and considerate.

Hotel manager is disagreeable and unfriendly, rooms always have holes in comforter, dirty toilet, and all around less than savory. Even the first floor rooms they only give you after switching rooms three times are not really adequate in terms of hygiene or basic standards. I was staying there for weeks working at a jobsite close to this particular Red Roof and word for word the manager said They dont trust people until they have been regulars for 3-5 years. I was thinking thats a red flag rhen and there because this hotel isnt extraordinary by any means. Then my final straw was when they tried to say I booked a single bed even though I had proof I booked a double. The front desk receptionist got visibly frustrated and lashed out at me when I expressed I didn't want him touching my phone without asking. He said you dont have to stay here. So i never will again. Also it appears they're trying to dox me by publicly putting out my information in the response despite me using a display name, and then proceeded calling my honest review slander. Typical

1/5 stars. Stayed with my bf here for a couple nights. The room was in poor condition with dirty floors and shower mold growth. On top of the lack of cleanliness, the staff was rude and unprofessional. We also had to deal with loud construction noise all day long. They seem to lack basic courtesy and professionalism when dealing with guests. Save your money and stay elsewhere."

Very clean, always have coffee, creamer options at the front lobby with friendly staff. I love the rooms and housekeeping daily to switch out towels and do trash if you'd like. Even the house keeping is sweet. And it's pet friendly, with a pool and workout room
