Laguna Beach Pride
About This Event
Laguna Beach has a long gay history. Visit Laguna Beach says Main Beach was the centre of the town's gay life in the 1960s. In 1982 the town elected Bob Gentry, Orange County's first openly gay mayor, and the city now officially marks June as LGBT Heritage and Culture Month. The local nonprofit Laguna Beach Pride 365, Inc. organises the town's Pride events.
The most recent festival we could confirm was on 12 August 2023 at Lang Park on Pacific Coast Highway. It had DJs, performers, vendors and food trucks. Earlier editions were held in early June and included a party at West Street Beach.
We couldn't confirm a festival in 2024, 2025 or 2026, and no 2027 plans had been announced when we checked. Check lagunabeachpride.org before you plan a trip around it. Orange County's main Pride event is OC Pride in Santa Ana.
