Ideally located for MGM Casino, with short distances on the Strip. Opposite New York - New York. Train access to Luxor, Excalibur, and Mandalay Bay.
The hotel is showing the wear and tear. Also when my toilet backed up no one picked up the phone and it took hours to come and fix.
Rooms are OK, hard working employees, but NO RECYCLING AT ALL at a hotel of this size! While Mandalay Bay (owned by MGM) has recycling bins, but who knows where it’s really going. In today’s day and age not to have recycling, God this country is backwards. 😣
The entire place stinks, it’s just an awful ashtray smell everywhere. I asked for a non smoking room & somehow everything just stinks of cigarettes, the room, the sheets, at some point my clean clothes that I hung in the closet ended up smelling like stale cigarettes. You can’t even walk to the lobby before being assaulted by the awful smell of people smoking indoors. There’s no escape, you go outside & there’s more people smoking right by the doors. I’m pretty sure there’s some law that no longer allows smoking so close to entrances. Overall this place is just a huge ashtray. It’s 2026, paying $250 a day to stay in a smoke filled place when I don’t even smoke, that’s just ridiculous. Also the blackout curtains in the rooms are a joke! Not blackout at all.
Everything was very clean, and the prices were good!
