Sin City Hostel: a cheap, queer-friendly crash pad on the north side of the Strip.
You’ll find it about a mile from the Stratosphere, a five-minute drive from Fremont Street. So it’s close enough to the action, but without the Strip’s usual price tags.
This is a proper backpacker hostel. Think mixed or all-female dorms, sleeping two to nine people. Each one has its own bathroom, AC, free Wi-Fi, and lockers (bring your own lock). Bedding and basic supplies are included.
Beyond the rooms, there’s a pool table, an Xbox, and a lounge with free tea and coffee all day. Good for meeting other travelers.
They do a free continental breakfast every morning. Need to stash your bags before check-in or after check-out? Free luggage storage. There are coin-operated laundry machines, too. It’s a solid, social alternative to a pricey hotel, especially if you’re looking for an LGBTQ+-friendly base.

Perfect place to be middle of everything and the price is amazing you just giant beat it.
Awesome experience here. The staff really makes the place—Diego and Pablo went out of their way to get us into the best club and pool parties, even when we threw last-minute requests at them. On top of that, Kleo did an amazing job keeping the rooms clean every day. Great vibes and excellent service!
This was a fun spot to stay! They hosted free margs and nachos the night we got there which was a fun way to meet people at the hostel to go out with. The beds were uncomfortable, but everything was very clean and felt safe. The parking was also a great part of the stay! The parking lot is even locked up so I knew my car would be safe. I wouldn't walk to the strip from this location even though it's close so location was fine, but not as convenient as I'd hoped.
I've been to this hostel years ago and they do a good job of selecting the staff! I was greeted and helped professionally by Pablo and I did attend the bbq night with the other guests and it was good and the rest of the staff were funny!🤣 Overall, I recommend staying here because first off, staff remembers your face if you've introduced yourself, it's clean, and it's really close to fremont street (20 mins walk but this coming from a New Yorker😅). I initially stayed here because I was going on a week long hiking tour and it did not disappoint. The neighborhood despite looking sketchy is still safe as before tbh because the homeless will not bother you!🎉
This hostel was amazing. The staff was incredible and very friendly. They organized a walking tour that allowed us to network, connect with new friends and experience Vegas as locals. Pablo was my favorite. The best guy ever! They also had a list of recommendations of the best places in town with awesome discounts. Looking forward to staying there again.
