About this place Club Nur

Club Nur is Long Beach’s only Middle Eastern-themed gay bar and club, a distinctive spot in the city’s LGBTQ+ nightlife scene.

It’s not your typical dance club. Instead, Club Nur leans into Middle Eastern dance performances, putting live entertainment front and center while you socialize. You can also settle in with complimentary hookah service, making for a more relaxed vibe than at most places.

The club is at 5101 E Ocean Blvd in Long Beach. It pulls in LGBTQ+ travelers and locals who want something different from the usual gay bar experience, whether that’s the cultural angle, the performances, or just a new place to hang out. For hours and event details, check clubnur.com.

It was my first time coming here last night and I'm not so sure I'll go again. Coming in the vibes we're great, the $15 fee to enter caught me off guard since I've only ever been to places where you go in for free. When walking in, you immediately feel the sticky floor all near the entrance. The line to the single "stall" bathrooms were a joke, why only 1 person at a time, 2 or 3 wouldve been quicker. Why was there a baby changing station in the bathroom in the first place? Also, there were no toilet paper, no soap and no paper towels in the bathroom, and the only hand towel was the one the lady outside the bathroom was handing out. I also think its ridiculous to have a tip jar literally outside the restrooms. Service was quick, got my margaritas quickly, prices were expected. Music was actually good, dj was amazing. We all got kicked out at 1:45 even though theyre open until 2am, why? One thing I would do is fix up the floors, and not close 15 minutes earlier.

Daysha has great customer service and was very fast with our drinks even how busy it was! Such a fun night.

Bad, they push and shove, looking for a fight, and even to get into the bathroom they try to fight. The music is awful, they keep playing the same stuff. They charge a lot for entry and there's nowhere to sit. Plus, you see some shady characters and it's not very safe. They slipped drugs into our drinks. You have to be careful if you come here. I don't recommend it; it's full of problems.
