About this place Bienestar

Bienestar is an LGBTQ+ organization in Long Beach, focused on advocacy and community support for Latino communities across Southern California.

It's not a bar or a club. Think of Bienestar more as a community center, a place for educational programs, health resources, and local initiatives. They do a lot of outreach for LGBTQ+ youth, gay and bisexual men, and people living with HIV, so it's a good place to find support if you need it, or just to get a sense of local LGBTQ+ life beyond the usual nightlife spots.

You'll find them on Cherry Avenue in Long Beach. If you're traveling through and want to understand the area's Latino LGBTQ+ community, or if you're looking for connections and resources, Bienestar can be a good first stop. Check their website for current programs and events.

Today was the first time I visited and the person who helped me out today was extremely kind and nonjudgemental, and genuinely decent. This place is so helpful and accommodating; I'm really glad I decided to check it out.
