The Orlando Hotel

This is a lovely hotel, with great staff! However, PLEASE, for the sake of all non-morning people who love a cup of coffee, provide a small coffee maker or instant coffee packs for the room. There is a hot water kettle in the room, but no tea or instant coffee provided. It is NOT great to have wake up and to head to a common area in the lobby and wait in line just to get a cup of coffee. -It’s baffling that an otherwise thoughtful hotel, cannot provide this simple amenity in-room.

The hotel was beautiful but the service was the worst I have ever experienced and unexpected. No drinking water in the room, unless they'll charge $13 a bottle, okay... even a 5 stars hotel would provide 2 bottles for free, whatever, typical LA thing right? Fine. Bed sheets and comforter have stains. Ok.. it happens .. whatever.. but even all bath towels have stains.. that's unexceptable. So I called the front desk to ask for new bath towels, waited for an hour.. didn't come. Called again waited another 30 mins, still never come. On the check out day, one of the staff was banging the door when I was in the shower. Which was ridiculous because I talked to the front desk the night before that I am going to have late check out. I was rushing to wear my clothes to answer the door, and realised he already opened my room door. Which means, luckily i was dressed.. if not, he would see me naked. And I feel this is super disrespectful! Why would u open someone's door without permission? Then the whole conversation he was so rude, with an attitude, said I didn't have late check out, late check out is not guarantee and only gave me 10 mins to leave the room and will have penalty. I was shocked. At the end when I check out. I was asking for the staff's name who is kicking people out. And the front desk was trying to cover up for him and said they don't know who that is. I am like.. Come on, how could you not know your coworker's name? So they finally gave me a name " Johnathan" which I don't know if they made it up or not. But anyways, this is the experience I had in this hotel. Definitely not recommend this hotel because of the service and cleaningness for this price.

Absolutely loved our experience at Palihouse West Hollywood. This place has such a unique charm the moment you walk in, it feels like a hidden escape right in the middle of West Hollywood. The aesthetic is stunning, with a mix of vintage elegance and modern California style that makes the whole experience feel special and different from the typical hotel scene in LA. We decided to grab food while enjoying the atmosphere, and I have to give a massive shoutout to Sara Acevedo for her incredible recommendations and hospitality. She told us to try the burger, and honestly… it completely exceeded expectations. Perfectly seasoned, juicy, flavorful, and cooked exactly right. You can instantly tell the kitchen takes pride in every detail. Sometimes hotel restaurants can feel secondary, but not here, the food was genuinely outstanding. What I appreciated most was how comfortable and welcoming the entire team made us feel. Sara’s energy was amazing, super attentive and knowledgeable without ever feeling forced. She elevated the whole experience for us and made the visit feel memorable instead of just another night out in LA. The ambiance deserves its own review too. The lighting, music, decor, and overall vibe create this relaxed but upscale energy that’s hard to find nowadays. It feels sophisticated without being pretentious. Perfect spot for a date night, brunch with friends, cocktails, or even just escaping the chaos of the city for a few hours. West Hollywood has so many places competing for attention, but Palihouse really stands out because it feels authentic. Beautiful property, amazing food, incredible service, and one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. Already looking forward to coming back soon.

Had an fantastic experience here! Beautiful hotel, and incredible service. I had a logistical issue with my booking and Meghan swooped in and helped me in a bind. It was greatly appreciated!! Very safe and walkable area. Great gelato place across the street, and lots of other great food places in the area! Will definitely be staying again next time I’m in LA!

The double-bed room was very nice, and overall the hotel itself was great. However, the housekeeping service was very disappointing. They forgot to clean my room for three days, even though I informed the front desk. No one came to clean at all. I stayed for four nights, and until my last night, there was still no housekeeping service. This was very disappointing. Also, the walls are quite thin, so it’s easy to hear people talking in nearby rooms.

Really liked the hotel, the rooms are spacious and have everything you need. There is several nice coffee shops and markets nearby, so you don’t need to use car or transport. The workers at reception were really friendly and helpful as well!

I really enjoyed the aesthetics of this hotel, but the service was not great. We also paid almost the cost of the room in fees which is disappointing. As soon as we arrived, the front desk employee was laughing at us and making backhanded comments, not sure if he was trying to be friendly or not but it wasn’t funny after a long days travel. The valet was also slow and did not help take any of our bags on arrival or departure. It sucks because this was $55 dollars a day and would get backed up and take a while especially during busier times. They also charge you a resort fee (not sure what the resort fee is for since it’s just a hotel) and taxes, so it total, we were paying $100 a day to be there, which is almost the cost of what our room was. Overall I think it’s a nice place to stay but don’t expect good service from valet or the front desk. I will say I loved the aesthetics of the room and hotel itself and the bartender was absolutely incredible!! I was sad this only was open until 9.

Good location, nice bar. Missing full amenities, lacking restaurant and room service. Valet parking is over priced, lots of street parking around. Rooms are run down and lacking features. Could use with some modern features and more lighting as it isn’t very well lit at night.
