Madison Marriott South

Really enjoyed our time here. Allison and William at the bar were stellar and so friendly, plus make some amazing cocktails (especially lemon drop martini). Also really enjoyed the lounge, the attendant there and the overall ambiance. Thanks for the stay and being the home away from home. Love being a Marriott member!

My family and I stayed here for our cousin’s wedding. Our stay was phenomenal from beginning to end. First, Shane greeted us with so much warmth and hospitality. We were able to quickly get into our adjoining rooms and get settled. Every time we came through the lobby, one of the front desk staff (either Shane or Felica) would check in about our stay. If we needed anything—extra water, a rollaway bed, recommendations, shuttle service—they were literally at our service. The dining and bar staff were also very hospitable and kind to us as we dined for breakfast and late night snacks. The housekeeping staff were very kind and detail oriented. So thankful for their service. AND let’s give it up for the BEAUTIFUL property—the lobby is so chic and that carries through the rooms as well. This may be the ONLY choice for my family when we return to Madison. I travel A LOT and this property definitely left a pleasant memorable impression. My family really didn’t want to check out. Thanks for a great experience!

Hotel itself is great. There's a small coffee shop at basic snacks. The staff is all very nice and the hotel is exceptionally clean. My only complaint is that the rooms are somewhat small. The beds are not Queen size, they are full.

Decent Marriott, regular double bed rooms have full size beds which is odd.

SHOUTOUT TO EMILIO, SHANE AND RODERICK (sorry if I spelt the names wrong) AT THE FRONT DESK LITERALLY TOP TIER SERVICE, WOULD GIVE MORE THAN FIVE STARS IF I COULD So for starters, Emilio was so nice as to give me and my five friends ALL umbrellas so that we would not have to walk over to the convention expo in the POURING rain in official dress!! The umbrellas were so useful and so so so helpful and lowkey made us all feel like Mary poppins, an added bonus! We really appreciated the gesture!! SECOND, and my personal favorite - EMILIO AND SHANE ALLOWED US TO TAKE A CUTTING OF A PRETTY PLANT FROM THE POOL ROOM! Now, I am a HUGE nerd when it comes to plants - I love house plants way too much, and when I saw the beautiful monstera deliciosa in the pool room, I joked that I would like to take a cutting from the plant and propagate/grow it at home. My friends came with me to ask the front desk (which was being run by none other than the amazing duo - Emilio and Shane!) I had one of my girlipops ask them for me (because when I get nervous I start mansplaining for whatever reason and I don’t think ANYONE wants to listen to me ramble on about a monstera deliciosa for half an hour), and to my surprise, they said yes!! I walked away from that desk with such joy and happiness I cannot explain, as I went to claim my beautiful prize! This is my dream plant, and I am so grateful and happy to be allowed to take a piece of it!! Thanks again!!! THIRD, Roderick so graciously drove me and my group to Walmart as all of them were getting ice cream - I can’t have dairy, and Walmart was the only place nearby that had dairy free ice cream, and they didn’t want me to feel left out!! It was so nice of him to do so and it really made me and the rest of the team feel appreciated!! EMILIO, SHANE AND RODERICK ARE SOME OF THE NICEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET AND DESERVE ALL THE FIVE STAR REVIEWS! THESE PEOPLE ARE AMAZING AT THEIR JOBS I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AND EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE WHO WORKS HERE — EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. IS EXTREMELY NICE AND WELCOMING!!!!! 🫶
