Tuli Sauna & Plunge

Disclosure: owned by step-daughter. But, a beautiful sauna on a beautiful spot on the banks of the Sugar River. Next to 7 Acre Dairy with cafe, restaurant and bar. Very highly recommended.

Its warm, clean and perfectly designed with a beautiful view of the Sugar River. Sitting inside, watching the river glide by outside, is pure serenity. The mix of heat, scent, and the soft sound of the water creates a meditative calm you can’t quite describe until you experience it. And then there’s the plunge: the highlight of it all. Stepping out from the comforting heat of the sauna and lowering yourself into the cool Sugar River is nothing short of electrifying. It’s invigorating, shocking and deeply refreshing all at once. The contrast between the deep warmth and the crisp river water leaves you feeling fully alive, your senses wide awake, your mind completely clear. Tuli offers more than a sauna session. This place is really great! Between the wood-fired sauna you operate yourself, the nice cold river plunge in the Sugar River, and the other riverside amenities, this is a must-do for sauna lovers!

I loved Tuli’s plunge and sauna experience both for the relaxation and recovery benefits it offers. My partner and I are runners, and being able to repeat the sauna and cold plunge experience as many times as we’d like after a long run was amazing. I especially enjoyed that the cold plunge was in a natural river. As someone who isn’t a swimmer, it was perfect and safe for me to get into and sit comfortably. The owner also shared that the river is rated exceptional by the WI DNR. Only 3 in the whole state are. This experience is also conveniently located next to a fantastic restaurant and creamery for some food, drinks and ice cream afterwards. I’ll definitely be back.

We had the pleasure of visiting Tuli today, and it absolutely surpassed our expectations! Amazing spot, and so well-constructed. It is super charming, and a very unique experience being immersed in nature. Absolutely would recommend!

This was my first time doing a sauna and plunge so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the entire experience was amazing from beginning to end!! It was so fun to sauna and plunge right into the sugar river at your own pace. The sauna and the river were super clean and the environment was very welcoming. I look forward to adding Tuli to my wellness routine!

Had a great time at Tuli! Such a cool way to get a sauna experience in the outdoors. The social sauna was super casual and not intimidating for someone who hasn’t done a cold plunge before. Will definitely come again!
