Believe the 1-star reviews, not the 5-star reviews. Run-down, worn-out, poorly-maintained, poorly-cleaned, and roach-infested. That‘s what you can expect from this motel. Came to Manteo for a concert, and my friends booked us rooms here because it is within walking distance of the venue. That is the only positive attribute I can think of.

I paid a little over $250 for this room for one night. We love to fish so we spend our day in the sun and all I wanted was a shower. The hotel called me at 7pm and asked when I planned on showing up. We arrived 830pm after receiving an entry code to access our room since they do not have front desk staff. The ceiling was covered black spots and the shower tub was horrifying. I didn't even want to shower in it. My fiance and I both woke up with lower back pain because of how old and stiff the mattress was. And the older wall unit a/c was either too hot or too cold, no in between. I understand I sound like Goldilocks and that it is peak season but I don't think it is right to charge top dollar for low quality. I hope management reads this to fix these issues. Just pay a little more for a better hotel.

It was a nice place. Walking distance to downtown Manteo, and Festival Park. Short drive to The Lost Colony, Wright Brothers and Bodi Lighthouse.

The room was very basic. I did not see any bugs. the microwave plate was too big for the microwave. the lighting was horrible. Staff were friendly. Reserved a king size bed but my room had one double bed.

It was wonderful staying with you. You treated me and my husband with much respect. Me and my husband had no problems with our room and no problems with the front lobby. I asked for an extra pillow and had no problems and they gave me an extra pillow with a smile. Thank you for everything and making it enjoyable for my anniversary. It was wonderful staying with you and next time we're down here we will be staying with you again.

Terrible experience from the start. Got a room for a week was fully expecting to stay the whole time. When we got there there was moldy food in the microwave and dirty used razors, mold in the pictures on the wall and yes I have pictures. Also major drug activity going on at night you can smell it through the air conditioner. Long story short I had to leave early due to a family emergency and had to cut my stay by 3 days. They refused to refund me for my days I didn’t stay. Would not recommend to anyone else
