Room didn’t get below 85 degrees with ac set as low as it could be. There were ants literally everywhere. How this hotel has any reviews over 1 star is incredible to me. I don’t give bad reviews and that’s how bad this experience was.

I really enjoyed staying at Mia’s! The room seemed very clean, it was a great location! Right nearby the beach and a bunch of restaurants and ice cream shops. Something that would have been nice is if maybe the rooms had a door wedge to hold the door open, it was very loud hearing the doors bounce constantly off of the door opener that’s on the door- When workers are cleaning, having a neighbor that’s in and out all night long, ect. On our last night, we got up around 1130 to use the bathroom and there was a cockroach in our room. Not sure if that is normal for NC this time of the year but it did creep us out a bit so we didn’t end up staying our last night and just went home early. It ended up running out of the room when we left the door open, but maybe just something to be aware of. Otherwise it was a great stay!
