About this place Palace Bar

Palace is the drag bar of South Beach: a restaurant-bar on Ocean Drive, opposite Lummus Park and the beach, where queens perform out front and often spill onto the sidewalk and street. The weekend drag brunch is the best-known draw and books up. The crowd is mixed, with gay locals, tourists and plenty of straight groups who stop for the show. It runs from late morning until 2am, or 3am on Friday and Saturday, and prices are mid-range for Ocean Drive. Reserve for brunch or show times on weekends. During Miami Beach Pride the stretch in front of Palace is one of the busiest spots on the strip.
