About this place Noelle Hotel

The Noelle Hotel occupies a restored 1930 building in downtown Nashville and represents the kind of independent boutique hotel that the city's rapid growth has made possible: serious about design, genuinely welcoming of LGBTQ+ guests, and positioned at the intersection of Nashville's creative economy and its hospitality industry. The hotel's aesthetic is distinctive — the renovation preserved the building's Depression-era bones while adding contemporary design elements that reflect the Nashville of 2020s rather than a generic luxury template. The rooftop bar is one of downtown's best elevated drinking spaces, with views that capture the Cumberland River and the skyline that has transformed so dramatically in the past decade. The hotel's location in downtown puts it within rideshare range of both Church Street's gay bars and Lower Broadway's honky-tonk scene. The staff culture is explicitly inclusive — the Noelle participates in Nashville's LGBTQ+ business community and has been a consistent supporter of Pride events. For visitors who want a hotel that reflects the creative and contemporary side of Nashville rather than the tourist-driven downtown strip, the Noelle is the correct choice.

To begin, I am not one to write negative reviews but feel this circumstance had led me to warn others. I started traveling to the Noelle back in 2018 upon the hotel opening its doors to the public. I’ve spent many occasions there throughout the years and recall them starting as a boutique hotel, joining Marriott, and discontinuing their partnership with Marriott. I’ve seen changes in the hotel, none were negative.. until recently when we traveled there. Let me start off by saying, the front desk was friendly. Upon checking in, we were given an option for an additional charge to get into our room early. Now we travel with AMEX, so this convenience is standard to come with no charge.. but they still charged us. That’s no problem. Upon checking into our room early, we found it to be incredibly dirty (IE, trash in cans still, stinky room, dust layer over all furniture, etc). We dealt with it since we aren’t ones to complain but did let the front desk know (they weren’t much help here). Here was my main issue - We left our do not disturb sign on the door. We briefly left our room only to return to someone clearly being in our room. Items were touched, towels were misplaced, the bathroom lights were on and the toilet seats were up, I could go on.. but it meant someone was CLEARLY in our room with our privacy door sign on. I think it should be known that is standard to NOT enter a room at ANY time if a guest is staying in that space. Talk about being violated and not feeling safe. So, that was our last straw. We contacted the front desk (again). They filled us in that a manager was supposed to contact us that day regarding our room being dirty - it never happened. So they said a manager would contact us the next day (it was 5 pm….) to hear our concern again. We demanded to check out and cancel the rest of our stay. We had to get approval from management (no manager on duty.. remind you, at 5 pm). Finally, I called from a different number down to the front desk to find a manager was on duty. She approved us to vacate for no additional fee for the remaining nights. We are currently (weeks later) trying to get our money back from this hotel. They have not issued a refund. Our credit card company is involved as well. This hotel is fraud. Stay FAR away from here unless you enjoy your privacy being nonexistent. Again, I was a loyal Noelle customer but will never return again and advise others to not as well.

Prepaid for our room and when we arrived we had to wait hours. When they said the room was ready it was not what we had booked. They did not assist with anything. DO NOT BOOK HERE OR BOOK AT YOUR OWN PERIL.
