My wife and I have never stayed in a B&B before so we thought we’d give Fox and Hound a shot. Boy, are we so glad we did and it was my birthday weekend! When we first arrived, we were greeted at the door by one of the innkeepers, Esther and gathered into the gathering room. She was very welcoming and answered all our questions we had as well as took our breakfast preferences down for the duration of our stay. Breakfast was served between 8:30-10 and is all home cooked by the innkeepers. We chose to have breakfast at 9:00 which worked for us. She gave us recommendations for restaurants and what was around the area since our home is about an hour away. Our room was located on the first floor which was the hummingbird room. It was very spacious and perfect for my wife and I. There was a little hand written note from the owner and innkeepers which was such a sweet touch to the beginning of our stay! We had our own small patio which was perfect for sipping morning coffee and relaxation. It was very clean and stocked. The only small complaint we had acquired was the tv was quite small so it did make seeing what was playing a little hard, the charger that was provided for us did not work which was not a huge concern and the hot water took a couple minutes to heat up. Overall, the room was perfect for our stay! The dining room is very quaint and quiet and the innkeepers, Esther, Kelly, and Trish were all super friendly and very attentive during our breakfast. You get pretty decent sized portions with juice and coffee with the breakfast menu always changing each day. We were the only guests in the B&B during our stay so they were very accommodating with our likes and dislikes which I thought was very kind of them to adjust the menu a little bit. Every night, baked goods are left out for the guests with some snacks. Coffee and water is available in the breakfast nook as well as a coffee pot in the hallway that is available for after hours. Kelly was phenomenal! She was super attentive to all our needs, even though we felt like we were bothering her with asking so many questions! We were able to store our perishables in the guest fridge and she was even able to help us heat up our leftovers from the previous night! If you see a small dog being curious, don’t be frightened! That’s just Maya and what a sweet girl she is! She greeted us when we arrived back to our room and just wanted all the love given to her. I have to say, she was probably in the top three of my favorite things about the B&B. The scenery on the property is gorgeous! Lisa, the owner whom we met our last day at the B&B, does a phenomenal job with gardening and making the space super relaxing! There is a little nature preserve on the property that is gated and locked but guests are able to go in with a little seating area to just take it all in. You may just look outside and see a deer lurking around or some bunnies hopping! It was quite amazing to wake up to the sound of birds chirping every morning! We only stayed here for three nights and if I had to choose, I would definitely come back to stay here again! HIGHLY recommend this B&B to anyone who is looking for a quiet getaway!

One of the best B&B we have ever been to. Kelly and Emily were lovely and very sweet. The hospitality they offered was second to none. The grounds are beautifully done. The rooms are clean and neat. The common areas are clean and well decorated. The breakfast was fresh homemade and delicious, probably the best breakfast in all the places we have stayed. It's a return visit for us.

This bed and breakfast is a gem in New Hope! It is clean, quiet, and well appointed! The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable! As soon as you step inside, they’ll make you feel like you’re home! We stayed on the third floor and we never heard another guest! The breakfast that was served the next morning was delicious and quite generous! Esther and Trisha served everything with efficiency and a smile! The grounds are well kept and there are plenty of areas where you can sneak off and have time to yourselves! The walk into town was about 15-20 minutes downhill stroll. The walk back was a little more challenging as it was uphill! Thankfully, on the weekends, there is a shuttle provided by the town which makes the trip back to the Inn quite easy! This historical Inn is definitely on our list of places to revisit!

Absolutely love this place—quiet, serene, yet near the main streets of New Hope and Lambertville, and a short distance from Peddlers Village. A short walk too from McCaffrey’s supermarket and St Martin of Tours church. The rooms are beautiful and cozy, the breakfast is delicious and feels like home. The staff and owners are friendly and staying here feels like visiting friends. The best!

We stayed in the Meadow Annex for a fall weekend in New Hope. The room was cozy, clean, and spacious. The location is super close to all the shops and restaurants in New Hope so it is easy to explore and enjoy the area. Would definitely stay here again, and would want to try to get a room that includes breakfast to try it next time!
