What reviewers say

Visitors frequently praise the Logan Inn for its beautiful and charming atmosphere, excellent location in New Hope, and the exceptional friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, particularly the valets. However, some guests noted issues with bathroom lighting, specifically the lack of dim options and bright skylights affecting the bedroom, and inconvenient light switch placement.

Very nice place, some broken stuff in room, apologetic staff. They are helpful.

Here is what I will say about The Logan Inn. First off, let me start by saying I overall had a wonderful stay there. I stayed in the biggest suite for two nights and it was so comfortable being spread out and by the way the coffee maker-OMG that coffee is so good. The valet service was lovely. Dinner was pretty good, but I wouldn't say it necessarily blew me away. That said, there are so many good places to eat AND The Logan Inn is so incredibly walkable compared to other hotels. I would recommend this over all others. Now, here is what I noticed what strange and could use some attention moving forward at the hotel. The check in/check out desk was not clearly marked, and we weren't sure what to do with our luggage cart. The one host (not sure) told us she'd watch the cart while we checked in and we were brought to a desk kind of tucked away. Fine, except it definitely wasn't clear. Then, when our room was ready, we had to tow our own luggage cart to the room, which I thought was a bit odd. Now, the room itself was new, spacious, and beautiful. However, I noticed small things that The Logan Inn will want to remediate before it gets too bad. These include: chips off the coffee table in the living room, a bent and broken curtain rod, weathered patio furniture, chipped and broken tile, poor caulk seams in crown moulding. While these little details may not matter much in one's own home, in a hotel you visit and pay over $600 a night for and get no luggage service, those details absolutely matter. I can tell the cleaning staff and bussing staff are really good at their jobs and work really hard, but I'm concerned that The Logan is trying to understaff in other areas to cut costs and pay for their remodel. I wonder if understaffing was the cause of the lack of luggage carrying. Also, if we wanted the ice bucket filled, we'd have to bring it to the bar. I don't mind, however, I can only imagine the bartenders are annoyed by that since they have so much else to do. Also, if we needed something, there was no phone in the room. Overall, I will absolutely be staying here again. However, I would pay attention to those little details in terms of decor and staffing and service, because those details really do add up, AND, if you don't make repairs now, you'll be making more repairs later.

The hostess was disorganized and took another walk up customer before us when we were standing there. Seemed like maybe there was prejudice because we are a mixed couple. Not a good start. I have to give the chef 5 stars the miso salmon was cooked perfectly and served with a savory rag out of snap peas and some kind of lentils. The octopus appetizer was maybe the best I tried with just a touch of spice and fresh tender octopus and fried potatoes absolutely perfect. Gazpacho soup was excellent with plenty of garlic was only second in my book to the four seasons hotel's version. Wine by the glass was excellent per en fills chablis. Margaritas were late but good. Creme brule was perfect on top but over cooked inside Overall I would recommend them but they need some mature leadership at the front.

Very disappointed. Visiting New Hope for the first time. Came for drinks. The female bartender couldn’t even be bothered to place the drink in front of me. I had to get up from my barstool and walk three seats down. She was too busy flirting with the barback. Very rude. The other bartender was a pleasant guy, chatted us up, but their service is really lacking here. The acoustics in the place leave something to be desired as well.
