About this place The Landing Restaurant

The Landing Restaurant is a reliable choice for a meal in New Hope, Pennsylvania, a popular LGBTQ+ weekend trip.

You’ll find it at 22 North Main Street, right on the river, serving New American food with a few global detours. The main draw is the terrace, where you can eat with water views.

The menu jumps around a bit—wings are a specialty, but you’ll also see international influences. Brunch, lunch, dinner: whatever you order, the kitchen puts it together with care. That riverside terrace gets packed when the weather’s good, so expect a wait during peak season. Most people don't mind, given the views.

As a gay-friendly restaurant, The Landing fits right into New Hope’s vibe. It’s casual, focused on decent food and atmosphere, making it an easy stop for LGBTQ+ travelers and their straight friends. If you’re in the area, this is a safe bet for a relaxed meal, good hospitality, and some natural beauty from your table.

Wow what a great place, can't wait to go back and try the 5 or 6 other dishes that looked amazing on the menu. Great bar area too for drinks.

On a trip back to New Hope, I went to the recently renovated Maddy Rose at The Landing. The physical update is well done….comfortable yet chic. We ate at the bar and were served by Mia who was excellent. She guided us through their curated cocktail offering and served a delicious strawberry margarita. The food was fine, not exceptional. Upon receiving our entree’, we noticed ants crawling all over the bar. It appeared they came from the entree’ plate (kitchen). While the manager was made aware, it was not addressed during the meal. Not sure I will be back.

Food was great. Service was good - atmosphere is beautiful but it is too loud. Couple things as suggestions: 1 - change the music to eliminate vocals 2 - turn it down - the music made it very hard for our server to hear us and it was hard for us to hear each other at the table 3 - the space is amazing besides the noise - I strongly suggest putting in some sound dampening panels to eliminate some of the bouncing off the walls/floors/glass. Have seen these mounted to ceiling and walls The overall experience was really good and the food was over the top good and I want the overall score to reflect that experience - but you have to do something. The restaurant was not remotely busy (I would say half the tables inside were occupied at the height of our visit) and you could feel each tables volume rising with each additional table that was seated. Great renovation of the space and I hope you guys do well there.

Came for drinks and light food at the bar and was amazed at the service and quality of drinks. Mauricio was the best bartender and not only made great drinks but was friendly and extremely accommodating. Highly recommend!
