Marsha Brown's brings Creole cooking to New Hope, Pennsylvania, serving it out of an old stone church.
The restaurant is in a stone church, beautifully preserved, with a relaxed but warm feel. Think Southern hospitality, but in a place that looks like it could host a wedding. The menu focuses on Creole food, with fish, meat, and fowl prepared in what they call "simple decadence"—meaning classic techniques without the fuss.
New Hope has always been a gay-friendly town, and Marsha Brown's fits right in. It’s a place where everyone feels welcome, and the food is the star. They care about good ingredients and good cooking, not fancy plating. If you want serious, well-made Southern food in a comfortable setting, this is it.
You’ll find Marsha Brown's at 15 South Main Street, easy to get to in New Hope's small downtown. It works for a big night out or just a regular dinner that feels special. Check marshabrownrestaurant.com for details and reservations.

Food was ok, but the service was pretty good. Adrian, our main waiter was amazing and adorable 🤩. The house salad was just greens. However, the crabcakes were pretty good. I didn’t try to steak, but apparently it was delicious.
I had brought my sister there for her 75th birthday. The food was horrible. My soup was cold. The oysters had shells in them after they were shocked the complementary cake that they gave us was like a brick. This is a total rip off total rip off I would never ever ever go back there again. I am resident of Stockton New Jersey, hoping this would be a special occasion for my sister and it was disgusting.
Great place! The food was great but the service from Mason was top notch :) he definitely made the experience 10x better!!
Came here for Mother's Day after doing the New Hope Train ride. We were able to be seated right away. The food was great and our service was excellent. Highly recommend this place.
