The rooms are nice, but the elevator is inadequate. We're constantly waiting in line. There are flies in the bathroom.

I stayed here after discovering a rat in my Airbnb. I was having a horrible morning and I arrived at this DoubleTree and the service was amazing. I went early to drop off my bag because I was way too early for check in. The man at the front suggested I go check if there’s a room available for early check-in so I did. When I got to the front desk, Venetta (I hope I remember her name correctly, forgive me) was so helpful and kind. It was really refreshing after what I had to deal with the morning before. Venetta signed me up for Hilton Honors and explained so many benefits that come with being a member, like early check-in and Lyft points. She also gave me complimentary snacks and water that were delightful. I really really appreciated her and hope that this review goes a long way toward her development in the company. She is doing wonders at that front desk and I think that everyone could learn a lot from her service and knowledge. If I ever need somewhere to stay in the city or need to recommend a place, this location is great and nearby many train lines. I never get around to writing reviews but I don’t take genuine kindness lightly. Thank you Venetta! I hope this message gets back to you, you are appreciated.

The hotel is very good, but there are two points of criticism. Firstly, the limited number of elevators, which can lead to long waiting times, and secondly, the breakfast.

Room was pretty nice and the ac was cold. It was a pretty nice place to stay minus the bear spray incident that had us evacuate the hotel and walk down 27 flights off stairs while choking on the bear spray. 🫠
