Decent gay bar in Jersey, especially if you are in Bergen County and want to ditch going to the city. THOUGH, I have yet to go to the second floor, but given my experiences with being on the first floor and the patio (and because I come in so early and leave around 9), Feathers feels more like a social club than a night club. It is a safe space after all. Paul, Jeff, and Eddie make this bar as safe as possible, though I do wish there were different selections of alcohol instead of a few. I also suggest some kind of early bird special. What is very frustrating is that the customer service with the bartenders can be a bit of a challenge. I felt uncomfortable at times interacting with the bartender. His personality is very tricky to get along. I am SO grateful that Paul and his witty humor saved that (early) evening from being a drag and boring. Caution: Drinks are diluted, and taste a bit off. Passion fruit margarita tastes like regular fruit juice, and is $15, and a Blue Moon is $6 per pour. This is based on my knowledge, but may not be 100% accurate. There is no food in this bar, but you can bring your own.

Last year, I visited Feathers for the first time with my sister, her boyfriend, and their friends. We stayed for about two hours and had a great time. One of the main reasons I wanted to come was to see the GoGo boys, and they definitely didn’t disappoint. As a single guy, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and even had a brief dance with one of them, which made the experience even more memorable. I’d definitely like to come back again, especially for Boys Night, to enjoy the energy and see the GoGo boys again.
