Good hotel

This was by far the worst and most humiliating hotel experience I have ever had. On the night of June 11, after a full day of flight cancellations, delays, and itinerary changes, I arrived at this hotel between 9:30 and 10:00 PM. I had left Guadalajara, Mexico at around 6:00 AM and had been traveling for nearly the entire day after my final flight to Portland was canceled due to weather conditions. I was exhausted and simply wanted to check into the room that I had already reserved. When I arrived at the front desk, I realized that the receptionist spoke Spanish. She told me she was from South America, so we communicated entirely in Spanish. I provided my reservation information and, when she requested identification, I showed her my Mexican passport. Immediately after seeing my passport, she informed me that there were no rooms available. I was shocked because I had a confirmed reservation. For more than an hour, I remained in the lobby while she suggested that I cancel my reservation and try to stay at another hotel. The hotels she recommended were much farther away, some approximately 40 minutes from the airport, and I was told that no transportation would be provided. After an exhausting day of travel, this was extremely frustrating and stressful. What happened next made the situation even worse. After I had already been waiting for approximately 40 to 50 minutes, another guest arrived and spoke with the receptionist in English. This guest requested a room and was immediately given one. In fact, the guest also requested an additional room, and the receptionist provided that as well. At that moment, I confronted the receptionist. I asked how it was possible that I had been told there were no rooms available for over an hour, yet another guest who had just arrived was immediately given a room and even an extra room. I genuinely believe she did not realize that I understand English and could follow the entire conversation. I felt embarrassed, humiliated, and deeply hurt. From my perspective, I was treated differently because I am Mexican. I directly asked the receptionist whether the fact that I was Mexican had anything to do with how I was being treated. Her response led me to believe that it did. Eventually, after keeping me waiting for more than an hour and repeatedly insisting that no rooms were available, I was finally given a room. I have traveled internationally and stayed in many hotels, but I have never experienced anything that made me feel this unwelcome. What should have been a simple check-in after an exhausting day became one of the most upsetting experiences I have ever had while traveling. I do not remember the receptionist’s name, but she was working the front desk between approximately 9:30 PM and 10:00 PM New York time, spoke Spanish fluently, and was the employee who handled my check-in. I am extremely disappointed, angry, and saddened by this experience. I hope hotel management takes this matter seriously and investigates what happened. No guest should ever be made to feel that they are being treated differently because of their nationality.

Firstly I was helped by two different afternoon shift receptionist where taller female receptionist who speaks Spanish were very kind and professional. The room was clean but looks outdated a bit with the carpet and worn chair. The lobby looks nice and gym was fine, ball room where they served breakfast was also pretty neat just the actual guest floor aren’t that updated and there is literally high way out and nothing to really do. Swimming pool pictures need to be taken down as they don’t have one since covid

I have a very good experience at this hotel and the lady from the coffee shop was very nice and professional her name is Lilly 100% recommend

We had axquick stay here, between flights; we arrived late at night and departed in time for a 6am flight. The front desk was accomdating and courteous. Although the hotel's age is showing, it is quite clean and we did NOT encounter any issues. The airport shuttle worked as advertised, too. Overall, we had a great short-stay.

Found brown stains on the bedsheet. The air-conditioner is very noisy. Otherwise the only comfort is the pillow is very soft.

Great hotel

I booked a room at this hotel because I had an early flight to San Francisco the next morning. I arrived, the receptionist couldn't accept cash. I paid the room + Taxes + parking fee for 1 day . When I checked my bank account online, I saw that the hotel also charged a extra US$100 deposit to be reimbursed 5 days after check-out. At the check out they told me that they would deduct US$22 for parking fee from my deposit. I was surprised, they already deducted the parking fee + deposit + room price + taxes. They were going to charge me twice the parking fee. As for the room quality, the carpet smell was bad, like a dog smell, the shower head was not good, very bad quality, the beds were OK, clean, the size of the room was good, but the outlets at the table lamps were not functioning. I carried the coffee machine to the bathroom to connect to the outlet there that was functioning, and the coffee machine had some debris and dirt inside. My experience with this hotel was bad. They also overcharged me with my credit card.
