Hyatt Place Hampton Convention Center

We recently used the Hyatt Place Convention Center to book a large block of rooms for family and friends who were in town for our wedding. From my first interaction with the hotel staff last year when we arranged for the block through our wedding weekend, we received outstanding service. Tracey Robinson was very easy to work with, kept us updated on the room block as guests were reserving their rooms, and quickly provided guests help with their reservations when it was needed. During our wedding weekend, we also had a chance to interact with several other hotel staff who were committed to ensuring that our guests had a pleasant and memorable experience. They did an exceptional job in making our guests feel at home. They were welcoming, talked with our guests, helped resolve issues, and, in general, were invested in affording an enjoyable experience for everyone. The hotel was extremely clean, and our guests especially enjoyed spending time together downstairs in the restaurant area and outside around the firepit. Our guests also appreciated that the hotel is in a great location with numerous shopping and restaurant options in close proximity. Many thanks for all that the Hyatt Place Convention Center staff did to help make our special weekend a memorable one for us and our guests. We will absolutely keep the Hyatt Place Convention Center in mind for our future needs.

The front desk staff are very nice so I would give 5-stars for the service. The room - clean; Thermostat doesn’t seem to be working right but the maintenance person gave it a 110% so kudos to that. I think overall - it’s a good place to stay. The lobby is also clean and nice. Breakfast area is clean and they have coffee, juices, eggs, potatoes, bagels, bread, cereal, oatmeal, tortillas and condiments. I gave it 4-stars because of the thermostat and door secondary lock was not working.

Nicer hotel in the area. The free breakfast & good coffee down in the lobby make it worth staying here. The rooms were nice, they have extra pillows, blankets & pillowcases in the closet. The bathroom was fully stocked with a blow dryer & full sized shampoo, conditioner & bodywash. They have a mini fridge, but no microwave. There's a selection of coffee & tea in your room, which real cups & mugs. I stayed on the 5th floor & the view was beautiful at night & in the morning. You could see the patio & outside firepit at night. The hotel is dog friendly, with plenty of free parking around the back. I felt nice & safe here - there's multiple cameras & you need your room key to use the elevator. There is a gym & pool, however, I didn't get a chance to use it. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Stayed here for 3 nights & loved my stay. Friendly staff, clean & modern facilities and a comfortable room with all of the basic amenities (bar fridge, microwave, plenty of storage options). The free breakfast was good enough & the area was frequently cleaned. You could also take a leisurely stroll around the Hamptom Coliseum which is basically right across the road. I would definitely return here if I were to visit Hampton again.
