About This Event

Oklahoma City runs two prides on the same June weekend. This one is the downtown event, organized by the all-volunteer Oklahoma Pride Alliance at Scissortail Park, a setup that’s been in place since 2021. Before the move, the Alliance operated out of the 39th Street district, where Pride on 39th still holds its own separate celebration.

The festival spans Friday evening to Sunday afternoon. Entry is free. If you want reserved seating near the Love Stage, you’ll need a paid VIP pass. The grounds host a vendor market, youth zone, and health booths. The Sunday parade kicks off at 11am on Walker Avenue at Couch Drive in the Arts District. It lasts about an hour before finishing near the park.

The 2026 edition, themed "Community in Bloom," ran from 26 to 28 June. Joy Oladokun headlined Friday, with Bob the Drag Queen taking the stage on Saturday. A Two-Spirit segment opened the first night. Money has been tight. Several major sponsors pulled out in 2024 following a political social media post. By opening night of the 2026 event, a community fundraising drive had raised only about $6,700 of its $100,000 goal. No attendance figure was published. When we checked, 2027 dates hadn't been announced, though it typically falls on the last weekend of June.
