Convenient location for us and good view of the lake. West side overlooks from hill. Pool and outdoor courtyard are pretty good for this price point. Breakfast was fine. Staff were all helpful and polite. Good hotel if you are on a budget, look elsewhere if you want to spend more. ** What could be improved: Overall deferred maintenance. Top floor elevator button did not work so used stairs with heavy bags. Keys had to be remagnetized halfway through stay. Left extra wood on ground for over an day after new pergola constructed. Bed mattress seemed old, had indention and not as cushy. Toilet seat was too small for the toilet. Shower sprayer did not work.

Severely under staffed and poorly run. Would not stay here again. Staff was running around crazy trying to keep up.

Hotel was quiet staffing was nice but common areas were very dirty. Downstairs bathroom was disgusting. Breakfast area was not being upkept. My room was OK but just by viewing the common areas made me think that our room was not cleaned right won’t be staying again

Convenient location near freeway. Staff was nice & friendly. Complimentary breakfast. Rooms are a bit old/cheaply done but for the price it was great value. Would stay again if passing through!

I always look forward to seeing Sadie Leomiti during my stays at La Quinta Orem! She is consistently friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful every time I visit. She goes above and beyond to make sure guests feel comfortable and taken care of. Bonus she’s from my hometown. The entire staff at La Quinta Orem is friendly, and accommodating. Even the maintenance guy was nice and helpful. There’s no question of where I’m staying when I go to Orem. Thank you for making my stays such a wonderful experience. Sandi

I booked through booking.com, which was a terrible experience. I booked 2 night without any problems $400. Then realized I needed 3 night, I called back within 20 minutes and was told I had to cancel my reservation because they weren't able to add an extra night to my existing reservation. I explained that I didn't want to cancel because I was told it was non refundable. Their outsourced customer service rep completely misled me. The only way I could get the extra night was to cancel the current 2 night $400 reservation (non refundable) and reserve a whole new reservation for the 3 nights. No other options were given. Booking.com gave me an option to submit a dispute for the $400, but the said La Quinta didn't respond, so I was charged. When we checked into La Quinta, Ashleylynn said that we were double booked and she was going to cancel the 2 night stay and not to worry we would be refunded. WRONG! We paid $950 for three nights. Two weeks later and no refund!
