By far, this is the best gay mens resort my partner and I have ever been too. The service before, during, and even after our stay is amazing. We came to The Hacienda after our wedding celebration - what a great decision.
I decided at the very last minute on Friday of Memorial Day weekend that I desperately needed a break. I called the Hacienda and Douglas was so helpful and kind. I didn't arrive until almost 7 p.m. and Douglas was there to check me in and give me a tour - and he even upgraded me to a suite! It was HEAVENLY and just what I needed after being burned out for months. The bed was SO comfortable and the amenities first class. It felt like a spiritual retreat and I came back to my "normal" life with a new attitude and well-rested. Thank you Hacienda and Douglas!
Lovely place, very well maintained. The suites are a nice size, plus they have a nice continental breakfast in the morning. The staff is very responsible and friendly. It’s my favorite place to stay in Palm Springs.
Amazing place to stay and great service. Check it out, worth it when you arrive.
This was our second time to stay at the resort and we will continue to stay here. Its our favorite place in Palm Springs. The team is amazing, they are very respectful and gracious in all they do. The rooms and the grounds are very well cared for. We could not ask for a better experience. We will be back and looking forward to it.
Hacienda is my favorite place to stay by far! I’ve been visiting Palm Springs for a long time and have stayed in many hotels – some in Warm Sands and newer ones like the Rowan and the Thompson – but no place comes close to matching the service and quality that’s offered at Hacienda. For starters, the grounds are just gorgeous and well-maintained. At night it feels like I’m roaming around a tropical paradise. There are two pools, each surrounded by 5 or 6 residences, so it’s always easy to find a spot for sunning or enjoying lunch outdoors. A nice daily lunch is included with my stay and so is a daily breakfast spread. I’ve stayed in nearly all of the Hacienda residences over the years and have found them to be very comfortable with all the amenities I need. They’re furnished in a British tropical colonial style with warm walls, wood shutters, and sturdy + comfortable furniture. I love their down-filled sofas and might have enjoyed an impromptu nap or two there ;) I also like having a fireplace for those chilly winter nights. I should give special mention to the linens – those thick towels, nice pillows that I selected from their Pillow Menu, and the bathrobes which I found so addictive that I had to buy a couple that the staff shipped back to my home. I also love the high-end French toiletries. It’s also nice to see that Hacienda hasn’t abandoned daily housekeeping like so many other places. The rooms and the entire property are meticulously maintained. The pools are sparkling clean and so is the hot tub. The Hacienda staff is great, offering friendly service that’s always available but unintrusive. All of this comes with a price. Hacienda is not cheap – it’s boutique and exclusive and special. Sometimes I justify it by taking into account the $175 or so that me and my partner are saving every day because of the breakfast and lunch that are included in the stay. Other times, I don’t even try to justify it – it’s just a case of me spoiling myself. This past stay was great and it won’t be my last.
This resort is exceptional !!! The attention to detail and customer service to really enjoy the experience is beyond amazing! Can’t wait to go back.
