The Front Porch

As my teenage son would say, "It was mid." My husband said his turkey sandwich was good. I ordered the watermelon gazpacho and the beef carpachio. The gazpacho was fine. I've definitely made better. The beef carpachio was disappointing. The flavor with truffle oil and capers was good (how could you go wrong with those flavors), but the menu said it had parsley and watercress (which are flavors that have real bite and would have really complemented this dish). Instead, my carpachio was served with spinach, and the chef didn't even take the time to pick out the yucky, overly ripe bits of spinach. I was not informed of this substitution. If I had been, I would have ordered something else. If you're in the area, I recommend going next door to the Farm.

such a cool place. food is awesome, service was excellent. it's a really busy place, but you feel neither neglected or rushed. My vegetarian friend also was able to find a huge selection to choose from. I highly recommend this place!

If you're trying to get into Farm and want an even more upscale alternative, Front Porch is the place for you. I'm loathe to leave this review, mostly because I don't want to make this gem any more popular than it already is. But if you want a select menu of gourmet goodies from upscale sandwiches to one of the best baked bries, this is it. The artisinal cocktails and super efficient, friendly staff make it a fantastic spot to stop for a nice drink and a delightful meal.

Fabulous cocktails! Delicious shrimp ceviche and beef carpaccio

Bad service. Really bad bro vibes … drinks were good enough but staff was weird. I ordered a drink and the bartender just left. This was after 4 other people including my date got drunk even though we sat first… there was a clear priority on the bar tenders mind and if your were not a group of girls going to stage coach, then don’t expect good service.

Incredibly fresh and amazing flavors. The brie and hummus make great shareable. The cocktails were a highlight but I cant say say enough about how delicious everything was

This place is such a gem in Palm Springs. Tasty and unique food and cocktails for your buck. I got the pistachio old fashioned (and the dates which I couldn’t wait to get a pic of so that’s why they’re half gone) 🤤 the bar and service staff here is out of this world. Melanie went above and beyond to make my experience so good and connected so much to everybody around me. Will be back tomorrow!! lol
