Lily Hall - A Boutique Hotel

Staying at Lily Hall is such a unique experience. From the on property restaurant, to the quaint underground speak easy. The rooms have been thoughtfully decorated with vintage items such as a record play with vinyl albums. The bed is comfortable and the room is so clean! The hotel is located in the East Hill neighborhood, which is walking distance to Palofax St. (downtown) with lots of restaurants and boating activities. Kari is the site manager and she’s so kind and helpful.

Perfect boutique hotel. Modern conveniences, quiet, clean as can be, up scale nice restaurant and bar. I highly recommend for a couples stay, alone get away or business trip.

Wife said it was in in the hood and was scared to go outside after dark. Other than location she gives it a perfect 10.

4.5 OUT OF 5 There is a code for lobby and code for the room sent in different emails. Wife and I booked this last minute so we hadn't gotten our code email at check-in. If you weren't last minute like us I'm sure this isn't a problem for most guests :) Common area is fantastic it's really well done and why we plan on coming back! The smells the subtle tunes the ice and coffee bar is simple but effective. Rooms are unique and the records and decorations give great personality to the space. Shower kept cutting to very low pressure for about 5 seconds every 2-5 minutes... Maybe when someone flushed it lost pressure? We didn't run out of hot water though and the shower is very nice just as it appears in the pictures. Bathroom sound proofing was almost non existent in our particular room. Being able hearing the next rooms bathroom conversation was interesting lol but the room itself was fine so not really a deal breaker either.

Hotel room layout was great. It was very clean and quant. Brother Fox restaurant and Speak Easy bar made the stay even more special. Well Done!!

It is self service but the bartenders at Brother Fox and Sister Hen made up for that and the room and location were outstanding! I will stay there again.

Love this little boutique hotel! Room was fantastic and I had the best sleep ever away from home! Huge perk….fantastic restaurant downstairs.

Lack of good management. I travel professionally over 50% of my time. I booked this hotel the day of check in. After arriving on site and realizing the hotel was not staffed with someone to check you in, and was much to far of a walk to downtown. I called to cancel and book at another property. Nobody was available at this property to talk. After getting a response a full day later, i was already booked into another hotel. The manager claimed i was a "No show" and did not refund the stay. I've never had a hotel manager refuse to offer a credit. Management is probably why this hotel still had rooms left when others nearby were booked. Be sure this is the hotel you want before booking.
