I rarely go in city these days, but when i do Ubar is my favorite place to go. Every time I patronize the staff makes you feel like you are the only person in the room. I was meeting a friend who was in town for the night. We had the pleasure of of meeting Austin at the bar near the deck, he could not be more accommodating and engaging. Thank you! We are looking forward to his next visit and Ubar and their amazing staff will be our first choice !

If you have any issue w ur drink, they don’t care about making it right. Once you buy a drink there, if you spill it or they make it wrong, they don’t care about helping you out with it. It’s kind of a negative experience ordering there.

Not sure if I was overcharged but based on the price of beers etc I think I may have been. Paid 13 for a green tea shot. Again not sure but did not expect that price.

Was walking by from work on any normal Tuesday afternoon when I saw a sign for $2 Taco Tuesday, I was hungry and intrigued about this cheap yet enticing offer from this bar in the heart of the Gayborhood. I walked in, it was calm. A couple of customer here and there, the bartender (wish I knew his name) greeted me, asked me what I wanted, I told him my order. Few minutes later, received my 4 (eventually 5) $2 tacos composed of either chipotle chicken or beef on flour tortillas (sorry gluten free peeps 🥺) I will say as a half Mexican man I was surprised with how tasty the food was and the bartender was super nice and made sure my coke was refilled and I had enough lemons to shower my tacos. Overall especially on a Tuesday, definitely come here! Will do so also 🥳

Having just recently relocated to Philly from a trying 2 years of “the pandemic”, I’ve started to finally venture out to see more of “The City of Brotherly Love”. (Emphasis a the “Brother” part.) 😉 So, on a blustery, snow-flurry filled day, I decided to stop in at UBar on my way home from a day trip to Jersey. The first thing that hits you as you walk in is that this is definitely a neighborhood bar, with an older male clientele enjoying an afternoon cocktail and conversation with likeminded men. The place is very clean, and I love the zinc-topped bar. A relic of the past, but still very much a “now vibe”. Decent bathrooms and a nice cocktail/wine/beer selection. I’ll definitely be back to see how it picks up on a weekend night.
