If I could give it 0 I would. Worst place ever. Save your time and money.

Cute Historical hotel. Dated in terms of TV, room furnishings, and a non-working pool... at time of this writing. Comfortable, clean, quiet, and a bargain for those not needing modern luxury branded hotel.

Place is haunted as balls, but the rooms are great and the location is unreal. Great staff...also parking loophole if staying for a few days...just "lose" your ticket...new ticket is $20 vs $16/night.

A historic hotel full of character in the heart of downtown Phoenix. The location was excellent for exploring the city, and the atmosphere made the stay feel unique and memorable. You can truly feel the history of the place.

Really well maintained and in the heart of downtown. Be aware that you have to pay for your parking. The parking garage is conveniently located in the same building as the hotel though. Making it easy and convenient to walk from your parking garage spot to the hotel entrance

I’m not sure how this place has 3.7 stars. People must have low standards. Here’s the good: location is great. Right near the convention center. The lobby is cute and historic looking. There are pictures of the original hotel from the 1920s all over and that’s cute. But that’s all. The bad: Where do I begin? I’ll start by saying, if you want a fairly authentic historic-feeling hotel, this is it. I don’t say that as a compliment. It’s basically just like it was 50-75 years ago. But with air conditioning. The beds are lumpy. The windows are dingy. The bathrooms have cracked tiles and they just look filthy. The little historic faucet for show is cute but then the sink has separate hot/cold taps. Not great for washing your face to adjust the temperature. And speaking of washing your face, be careful not to bump your head on the ledge when you lean over to rinse because the sink is tiny and the ledge comes a little far out. Anyway, bathroom is gross. The rooms have air conditioning, but it’s controlled for the entire floor. The front desk lady suggested I close the vents because I was cold. The TV is old and has no guide. So you have to figure out what channel you want by literally clicking through ALL of them! There is like one plug in the entire room. At the desk. Oh and it sounded like there was an idling truck just outside my room all night. Maybe it was the AC? I don’t know. It was loud. Also, the door has this weird plastic grate thing that lets in a ton of light so I had to leave the bathroom wide open all night to block it. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you’re in a pinch looking for a cheap place to stay downtown.

Nice older hotel. Clean rooms. Affordable.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in…small rooms, paper thin walls, housekeeping wakes everyone up at 8:30am, no real WiFi, just awful all around

This place is haunted. Do not stay here. Managers and staff are super rude and hostile. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE HERE. Key cards don’t work, cockroaches and rats everywhere… the sheets are crusty and the towels are stained. There’s this awful smell of old cigarette carpets, throw up, and weed in here..

Sheets on one of the beds were gross and stained. Lobby has a stank and the room is a bit musty too. Other than that, super cute, old, haunted hotel. Would probably stay again.

Service was terrible.
