About this place Pittsburgh Equality Center
The Pittsburgh Equality Center is Southwestern Pennsylvania's LGBTQ+ community center, based on Ellsworth Avenue in Shadyside. Formerly the Gay & Lesbian Community Center of Pittsburgh, it runs community programming, education, advocacy and social-justice work, and acts as a welcoming hub and information point for LGBTQ+ residents and visitors across the region.
