Blue Jay Inn
Visitors frequently praise the Blue Jay Inn for its cleanliness, comfortable and well-appointed rooms, and excellent location within walking distance to town amenities. However, some guests note that the inn does not have access to the town's hot springs water and that the salt cave is not heated, with an extra charge to use it.

Stopped here last minute overnight from Yellowstone to SLC. Stumbled upon the Inn and so glad we did. Was a perfect respite from our drive and time in RV complete with 2 separate bedrooms for us and our teens and a newly renovated shower. Owner was quick to respond and despite the evening hour got us quickly sorted.
Most places in town have access to the hot springs water. This place does not. The salt cave also isn't hot, and they nonetheless charge extra to sit in it.
Nicely remodeled, comfortable, exceptionally clean, wonderful customer service and in the best location.
We've stayed here 3 times now. We love this place! It's quiet, clean, and beautiful. The rooms are comfortable with all of the amenities. Right in the middle of Lava, so it's walking distance to food and pools. The staff are very nice and accommodating.
Highly recommend Blue Jay Inn!! The owner reached out before arrival to give us the code & see if we needed anything. The cabin was perfect!! Plenty of room- modern- very clean - perfect location!! We loaded up on souvenirs- best prices in town! We plan to return!
My BFF and I went to Lava Hot Springs and had an overnighter at the Blue Jay. The accommodations were more that we expected. Every detail was anticipated! The rooms were impeccably clean and the decor was adorable. The mini-kitchenette had a coffee pot, making the morning at the breakfast nook table just that much sweeter. We found their gift shop to be eclectic, full of thoughtful and charming souvenirs. The assistance that we got from the front desk was informative! She knew the best spots to soak considering what we were looking for and she remembered us the next day. Great location for checking out this quaint town. I can't wait to come back!
