Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Port Aransas

Once you walk in the place is very clean. The staff is welcoming. The check in process was easy name and Id was just needed. A 50 deposit is required which isn't included in Reservation, my bad for not reading. The breakfast experience is wonderful. Ash and Cathy prepared a beautiful meal this am. Definitely will be back.

I had a really good stay at the Hampton Inn in Port Aransas. From the moment I arrived, everything felt smooth and easy, which is exactly what you want when you’re trying to relax near the beach. The check-in process was quick, and the staff was genuinely friendly—not overly formal, just welcoming in a natural way. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-kept. Nothing over the top, but everything you need was there and in good condition. The bed was comfortable, the space felt fresh, and it was nice coming back after a long day out without having to worry about anything. You can tell they stay on top of maintenance and cleanliness, which makes a big difference. One thing I really liked was the overall atmosphere of the hotel. It felt calm and easygoing, not too crowded or chaotic, even during busy times. It’s a good place whether you’re going with family, as a couple, or even just for a quick solo getaway. The location is also a big plus. You’re close to the beach and main spots around Port Aransas, so getting around is simple and convenient without needing to drive too far. That made the whole trip feel more relaxed. Breakfast was solid too—simple but enough to start the day right. Everything was organized, and the area stayed clean even with people coming and going. Overall, it’s a really good option if you’re visiting Port Aransas and want a place that’s comfortable, reliable, and stress-free. Nothing complicated, just a good stay that lets you focus on enjoying your trip. I’d definitely come back.

Staff was helpful ac didn't work very well in our room but we were hardly in there. UPDATE: OUR RECENT STAY THEY AC WORKED JUST FINE.

Nice place to stay but the room they gave us wasn't a very good view on the 4th floor ( ugh). We did enjoy breakfast and the pool and spa were very clean.

Service was great .. rooms could be a bit cleaner.

Had a last minute mixup and change to a group reservation for arrival next day. Toni was so helpful in correcting what was wrong and adding additional rooms needed for the group. I hope Toni is recognized for her attitude and customer service. Truly was a pleasure speaking with her. She's an asset to Hampton Inn.

This is the worst Hampton Inn. Rooms are dirty. The sink is held up with caulking. Breakfast wasn't fresh.

Desk staff could not be less interested. Room had hairs. Maintenance overall is lacking. Hot tub was extremely hot.

After the first time I stayed here I started doing so each time since. Lots of reasons to stay but I'm not sharing because I want the rooms to stay reasonable LOL 😆 The fact that they allow pets means everything to me.

This is a very nice hotel and the front counter lady, Tony, helped us out greatly! Very refreshing to see outstanding service in a world that has been lacking this gift greatly. She made this place really stand out. The room was very comfortable, and the beds were as well. Very clean environment too. The rooms could be a little more spacious, but it’s still very justifiable for what we purchased. The rate was a deal on Super.com!

I mistakenly left a $200 pair of boots in my hotel room and Toni reached out to my wife to tell her that they were left in the room. Chris brought them to her.

My friends and I planned a 2-night trip to Port Aransas for spring break (March 9–11). When booking, Hampton Inn showed “no age requirement,” so I called ahead to confirm. I was initially told the check-in age was 18 with no mention of any additional fees. A few days later, another employee told me the policy had changed to 21+, but that we could still check in with a $100 deposit. During the same conversation this deposit became $150, and later I was called back and told it would actually be $200. When we arrived early (around 10am) hoping to check in closer to the 12pm time I had requested, the front desk staff were dismissive and sarcastic. No one offered to hold our luggage or help us while we waited. The only employee who treated us respectfully was a member of the cleaning staff named Ricky. When we returned at the official 2pm check-in time, the manager agreed to the $200 deposit but repeatedly emphasized that whether or not I received it back would be entirely “at her discretion.” She also said that even a single noise complaint would result in losing the deposit. After agreeing to this, I was then told the deposit had to be paid in cash only, which had never been mentioned before. At that point the entire situation felt very uncomfortable and unprofessional. Because the rules and fees kept changing, I chose to cancel my reservation instead of staying. Since I had prepaid, I only received half of my money back. I understand hotels take precautions during spring break, but the inconsistent policies and the way the situation was handled made this experience extremely disappointing.
