My travel group had previously stayed at three other Port Aransas beach hotels. All agreed that this property raised the bar for the benchmark we will use on future trips.

The lady at the front desk was really helpful and kind to us. The kitchenette cottage suite was perfect for a cute romantic getaway, and we loved the double pool as well. We will definitely be staying again in the near future!! 😁

Disappointed with our cottage rental. The floor was unstable and somewhat dangerous in areas and the staff didn’t seem too concerned. Linens for the sofa bed were dirty and the floors were disgusting. Ana was understanding, however it took several attempts to get the housekeeper to clean the floors. I would hire new housekeepers, because seriously the current ones aren’t doing their job. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

This little resort within walking distance to the beach was so enjoyable and budget friendly. We originally booked a ground floor cottage suite but after reading some reviews about them being a little older, we choose to upgrade to a King Suite on the second floor. We were overlooking the nice pool from our private back patio and it wasn't too much more expensive. From our front porch, the sea breeze and background sounds of the sea were amazing. From our private back patio, we felt like we were in Florida! Our large room was comfortable and clean with crisp white cotton sheets, plenty of white towels and multiple toiletries. Bring your own toothpaste and favorite pillows from home. Being able to bring our two little doggie fur babies was extra special. Budget for pet charges upon check-in for only $50 per pet for entire stay, with a maximum of 2 pets per room. The AC in our room was awesome, especially after a long day on the beach in the sun. The resort does tentatively charge a $100 security deposit at check-in for any potential damages, as they should. Make sure to empty all trash cans, wash, dry and put away all of your dishes before you checkout, to ensure that you get back your $100's. Check-in was seamless and the nice evening shift front desk staff member was welcoming and thorough, by providing percis parking instructions and guestroom location. We were so impressed by a member of their staff named Amy. She's a rockstar and totally gets true customer service. We booked our reservation through booking.com and it unfortunately became frustrating before our arrival, due to our room upgrade request. However, Amy made us feel so supported and helped us tremendously. She even personally called us back to confirm everything, not knowing that it was our honeymoon. We recommend booking this gem in Port A directly with their staff and not through a third party.

A disaster! Trash in the small courtyard, very old and rusty furniture, dust everywhere, dirty floor. We changed rooms, insisting on a renovated room and demanding a cleaner one, but to our dismay, there was urine on the toilet seat and dirty wipes in the sink. We had only booked for two days and decided to go to Galveston. A very bad experience for people who travel a lot in the United States. We should have read the reviews beforehand.

Terrible experience for a family trip. They gave us the wrong rooms, and getting it fixed was an exhausting struggle. The cleanliness was sub-par: dust everywhere, dirty furniture, and old trash under the beds. One bed didn’t even have sheets, and no staff was available at night to help. My father-in-law’s room smelled awful and had no hot water. Avoid this place if you value hygiene and basic service.

Stayed for five nights and the property held up over the time. Cleanliness didn’t fall off, the pool remained kept up and nothing broke or let us down. When staying longer consistency is everything.

We booked through air bnb and the listing pictures showed room 204 with a balcony which is why we chose this place to book. When we arrived we were assigned 214 , no balcony. The room was decently sized enough, bed was comfy and the ac wall units are a bonus, and it’s a close walk to the beach. There was only one extra sheet provided for the pull out couch and the two extra pillows were stained, cleaning was surface level, kitchen soap was empty, saw enough bugs running around..,

My family makes a pilgrimage to the Texas coast every year, and this cottage setup was on an entirely different level than anything we’d stayed in before. Felt like an actual home.

Unfortunately when we got there our refrigerator and freezer was not working we told them the day we arrived and they said that a maintenance person would come. We had bought several groceries that needed to be refrigerated before knowing this. The next day we went to follow up considering nothing was done. Still nothing was done. We went to follow the next day once again…still nothing. Our food spoiled. Additionally, the ac unit downstairs was not working it would not heat. There was also blood on a pillow…yuck. Also the internet was not working on the second day. On the last day when talking to the front desk they were not willing to help and very dismissive. Would not recommend staying here.
