About this place Godfrey's

Godfrey's is a gay nightclub on East Grace Street in downtown Richmond, and the city's best-known LGBTQ+ venue. It's known for drag. Regular shows and a popular weekend drag brunch feature performers from across Virginia. Later in the night there's a dance floor and a mixed queer crowd. The club opens Thursday to Saturday from 21:00 to 2am, and Sunday evenings until midnight. Drag brunch runs separately at the weekend and usually needs a reservation. There's sometimes a cover on show nights. Downtown is compact, but street parking fills up on weekends, so a rideshare is easier.

Godfrey's was amazing. My Sister Circle celebrated five birthdays at Godfrey's. The emcee was well spoken, friendlly, and beautiful. The service was excellent. Our server was on point with everything. The entertainment, OMG, phenomenal. It was refreshing, different, and just enjoyable. The only drawback was we had to wait out in the hot sun until 2:15 after being told to be on time. It was blistery hot. Please work on that area of the experience for a completely delightful journey once you enter the doors of Godfrey's. Thank you@
