My favoite place to stay in SLC. Rooms are simple but provide all that you need. I prefer the Wasatch rooms because of the outdoor balconies, other rooms may not have outdoor windows. Right below is a first rate cross fit - like gym that is better than any other hotel in UT. If you feel adventurous you can also take a turn at the Bouldering Project that is right downstairs. The bar is fun and a good spot to relax before bed and the coffee downstairs is quite good in the morning.

Stayed here 5/28-5/30. If you want to stay here. Stay in the opposite side of the hotel away from the bar. They must have had some event going on because people were screaming down the hall and someone had a microphone. You could almost hear the bar shenanigans going on from the other side of the hotel. It was impossible to sleep. I thought I was at a concert. Don’t recommend if you’re looking for an actual hotel. Beds were also not the best. Room was very cramped.

Lots of construction currently happening surrounding the building (May 2026) but the building itself is nice. Didn’t realize I had booked a room without windows and had a slanted ceiling that I hit my head on a few times (5’8”) which was my only complaint. The front desk ladies were so helpful and kind!! They made my stay worth it.

Really enjoyed staying at evo! The sauna was the highlight for me. The location, staff, and amenities are great. Also the used gear store next door is fun to check out. Highly recommend staying here.
