Motel 6 San Antonio, TX - Downtown - Alamo Dome

The room are extremely clean and pleasant. The customer service at the desk was great. I highly recommend.

The room is very dirty and in poor repair. The security latch on the front door wasn't functioning, the closet type door that provided "privacy" to the bathroom was missing a knob, was gouged with marks and would not even properly shut. I reserved a non smoking room but it reeked of smoke. The ice machine had a sign on it saying it didn't work but the clerk said it did. The pool was also closed for maintenance. There were no amenities like a fridge or even a microwave in the common area with the non functioning ice machine. They advertised a 12 minute walk to the Alamo...perhaps that would be accurate for Olympians. We ended up having to Uber to the Alamo. I almost ALWAYS stay in Motel 6 because I have found them usually very clean, well msintsined and reasonably priced. That was NOT the situation here. Next time I will pay more to stay somewhere else.

I wouldn’t go here There are bugs crawling around in the rooms (mostly cockroaches and fruit flies) and the rooms did not appear clean when I first came in.

Unprofessional manners from the older Hispanic female that works the counter. I went in to book inquire about reservations for a future date and she kept giving me weird looks. Will not be going back to this hotel

DO NOT GO HERE dirty rooms and they will not give refund no matter how much they know you deserve one. Receptionist lady is VERY rude. They tell you it’s policy for $25 deposit and want your physical card because they claim tap pay doesn’t work. The card reader literally says “tap to pay”. Our rooms were so dirty , we even took the rag and showed the lady how dirty it was and she said we could’ve gotten the towel from somewhere else. This place deserves 0 stars.

Got the wrong room they made mistake handicapped to regular room as special request not giving good instruction oon how to get into hotel on Google map Bed was stiff not firm like most hotels
